I just wanted to introduce myself. I'm Clark Chamberlain, I'm from Idaho but currently living in Baghdad, Iraq. I am an author, just finished my first novel, Loves Deception, which I hope to have out this fall.
I really enjoy thrillers and crime stories and want to connect with people who have the same interests.
I'm very excited to participate in this group and get to know all of you.

The last American Consul[ETA: before the present one, I mean](about 5 years ago?) served as an officer in Iraq. Don't know if he went back to duty or not. He was a lovely man.
