wrong number of pages

Hi I'm a librarian, and a member of one of my groups sent me the following email:

i am currently reading the nook version of the 19th wife and the number of pages is wrong can you please fix it for me there are 426 pages and it says that there are 514 pages .

Same happened for the book true grace I read it said there were 320 pages and there were only 305

same with the book sliding into home nook edition it says 256 and there are only 156

same with water for elephants the nook edition it says 335 and there were only 3oo can you fix them for me so that I have an accurate account of how many pages i have read

I have no way of independently verifying nook edition page counts. Maybe one of the other librarians here can independently verify page counts and correct them? Thanks!

The ebooks, including Nook and Kindle vary in pages, from reader to reader...I believe, due to font size...so we rarely change those. :)

This book doesn't have a number of pages assigned. My copy which was re-titled All Marketers Tell Stories, copyright 2009 has 220 pages.
