Christopher and possible Sherri sighting

I saw Christopher at the end of the season on Private Practice, the spinoff of Greys Anatomy last season. I think he is going to be there for awhile because he's on the commercials for the new season as Addison's love interest.
I also think that Sherri is in Gossip Girl, as a married woman having an affair with a cute guy (have no idea what his name is). I could be totally wrong, but they sure look the same.
I don't know if these have been brought up before. I'm excited to see Christopher in a new role, I really liked him.

Is Sherri played by an actress named Madchen Amick? If so then yes, she's a new character in Gossip Girl (a guilty Gossip Girl fan, yep, I am).

It's so great how many actors/actresses have gone on from GG to get roles in other tv shows! I think that says something for the spectacular acting on GG:>
