That's good to know. Writing is a skill that develops over time, so I bet her newer books are pretty good. I'll probably continue with the series, too, but not right away.

I liked how Charles was able to go out a hero. The cancer was already hard on him, and it would have gotten a lot worse. This way saved all of them a lot of pain. I'm glad that Kelly and Charles were able to have some closer.
I actually liked David and Mallory's story better than Kelly and Tom's. It was sweet, how Mallory slowly fell for David.
I agree about the action scene. I wanted more. It seemed not much happened outside of the romance sections until the very end. (hide spoiler)]
