Elliott | 22634 comments Mod
No you didn't! That's good. What'd you write about?

message 62: by Isaac (new)

Isaac | 8014 comments I'm not really sure. :\

Maria [the clockwork creeps on useless lives] (mariachhile) | 8772 comments Mod
At least you wrote!

The more you do it, the easier it'll get.

Maria [the clockwork creeps on useless lives] (mariachhile) | 8772 comments Mod
Really.

By the way Emily, what I wrote made no sense. At all. If that gives you any false comfort.

message 67: by Isaac (new)

Isaac | 8014 comments The first time I did it, it was just about what I was thinking. This time, I wrote some retarded letter story-thing that wasn't going anywhere.

Maria [the clockwork creeps on useless lives] (mariachhile) | 8772 comments Mod
The point is, you wrote SOMETHING.

You can have a Quarter-horse!

Maria [the clockwork creeps on useless lives] (mariachhile) | 8772 comments Mod
A mental one.

LAV. You don't need to at this moment but could I make your read one more 800 word thingy? AKA the thing I just made. I would like to know if it makes any sense or if I should rewrite it compared to editing it.:P

message 83: by Faith (new)

Faith (SpiritWalker) | 2 comments I have writers block, can any one help me finish this story?!

Faith scanned the horizon for any danger, looking out for Vampires that were trespassing on the land. She had been up all night patrolling the territory, and now daylight had come meaning Joesph would replace her and she could finally get some sleep. But before she went to sleep she had to take care of some chores, she had to hunt and feed the young ones, clean her fur and groom her coat. So she got to work, she ate, feed the kids, washed and groomed her fur, and finally went to bed.
She woke up on her bed back in human phase, the sun was in the middle of the sky. No one else knew her secret except for Joesph and Hannah, so she thought that Joesph dropped her off. Faith was still tired but her sister, Taylor was yelling to her to get up, "Faith, get up, Mom said she's taking you down to the lake!"

"I don't want to go!" Faith said.

I could hear Taylor punching in the keys on her palm pre. "She said you don't have to go!"
Once she yelled that up to me I went back to sleep. But only what I thought was thirty minuets passed before my mom woke me up again just to say bye. I was so tired that I didn't care, but I said bye back.

I watched her leave then went downstairs to make my lunch. I looked at the time and the oven clock said one forty seven. I made a Pizza Bagel, then sat on my mom’s bed and watched TV. But I was too bored to watch. So I left the house and phased.

Kaitlyn *I Will Never Let Go* | 44 comments I just tried write or die and I am confused. What is the point? And why is it called write or die? I didn't write much but I didn't die. Most of my stuff was just rambling on anyway.

Kaitlyn *I Will Never Let Go* | 44 comments This is what I wrote on Write or Die. It says alot about my craziness level.
Um, kay, I really don't know what this is all about. It's those crazy people on good reads that said to do this. I guess a blank page and total confusion can really actually help ideas flow. For example: This is really some sort of phsycho website where, like those inkblot pictures, they analyze what you write to see how mental you are. And I think I just gave them reason to put me in a mad house, because that's really one of the stupidest things I've ever heard...erm, wrote. I just had a sudden image of myself skipping through a field of yellow weeds then getting zapped by lightening. What does that mean? I sure hope it's not a premonition of something to come...SOMETHING WICKED THIS WAY COMES! Haha this is fun! I think that if I ever become a phsycologist I will use blank paper theropy like this. Just being given a blank sheet of paper to ramble on and on without being told what to write about and knowing this doesn't count for anything really seems to help. This is the most I've writen in weeks! Dang, as soon as I say that, my mind goes totally blank. itunes is dumb. It deletes my reviews as soon as I post them. Makes me mad! What does this do anyway? What is the point? Why is it called evil? And what is that thing in the corner that says New Evil sound brought to you by Tom Davenport. Holy Cow! I know somebody named Tom Davenport and he makes evil sounds all the time! That's a little creepy...It's a small world after all la de da. I want to hear the evil sound! Is there a point to this? I am so confused. I guess this is working, though. Hm. Strange. Okay, I'm done and maybe will finally figure out what is going on!

You're supposed to actually write parts of your book using it. Like you're stuck on something you're writing, so you'd just continue where you'd left off, get on Write or Die, write a bit of it to get you going, then copy/paste what you wrote into your document. Sometimes you get stuck because you're thinking too hard about it, so the purpose of Write or Die is to strip away that thinking-too-hard part and just help you get the words out.

Colby (colbz) | 3211 comments I'm beginning to believe I'm stuck in an infinite vortex of writer's block. I keep getting ideas that get stomped on by school stealing my creativity and time and forcing it into other things.

More than 1000 words in 11 minutes? Geeez. I'm lucky to get 1000 words in half an hour.

Speaking of which, I have not written ... at all ... since I got to college. I just haven't felt inspired. It's horrible. I DON'T KNOW WHAT TO DOOOOO.

I don't believe in writer's block. I just believe that I'm being lazy and not working hard enough.

Haha. No one reads my stories anymore, so I don't have that problem ... XD

Maybe to unblock your writers block, take a trip through a forest to clear your mind and you may get inspired. Read alot of movies and books and hopefully inspiration will come.
