I currently have 158. Is that excessive?

The wishlist holds up to 200. Go ahead and fill it up, life's too short!I have 185 right now and was ecstatic that my turn finally came up for Brian Keene's Ghost Walk, only to find out that the sender never accepted the request. So it's back on my wishlist again.
I have had several lately that were never accepted. I guess people just join for a lark then quit logging on.
I have 4 right now and I know what you mean about people joining and then not excepting but I have had the bad fortune of them excepting and never sending. I have had this happen twice in the last month.
I have 155 but many of these are multiple versions of the same book. If you don't count all the multiple versions I only have 67.
I have 112 at the moment. It was higher but my wishlist has gone nuts the last couple of months! I've had 12 come in since July and I'm number 1 for a few more right now. Not complaining though :)
My wishlist has been going nuts too, and I had to buy credits on two occasions in the last month! What I really hate is when books go into "wishlist purgatory". I had one book go through five wishers, none of whom ever responded and let the full 48 hours elapse until the book finally sat on my shelf unrequested for over a week.
In frustration, I ended up listing it on Bookmooch.
With its minor flaws, I still love PBS and find the majority of traders to be honest.
I have 57. Some are different versions of the same book.. It's gone down a bit.. I've gotten 7 WL books in 2 weeks. Eek. I'm going to have to buy credits pretty soon. :)
I cleaned mine up a bit, got 3 for Christmas, and found 2 in the system. So, I've got 25 on my list now.
Actually, I've been collecting much faster than I have been reading for a long time. So my WL is finally getting down there, but since I'm so greedy, it's still in the range of 400-500 books easy!Just don't ask about my TBR stack!
Mine is around 143 I think. I did break down and buy some at half.com recently so as soon as they get here I'll take those off my wl so it will go down by a few. :) Sometimes I just can't wait. lol
I have 60 - if I don't count the multiple copies. My wishlist seems to go in spurts, I'll get book after book and then three weeks without a book. I have more than enough credits to cover my wishlist, but I have to get that TBR pile down! I used to be like Brett, I collected books by the box. Reality set in and I realized I would never have time to read all of them. I've been getting only wishlist books or authors/books I really really want to read for the last two years. I think I finally see the light!
I hate having to keep buying credits. I have around 160 on my wish list but only 70 on my have list. I guess the user base is different between here and Bookmooch. I have 21 credits over there.
I only have 39 on my list, and 15 of them are set to "no" for auto request. Lately, I've noticed something weird. Although something on my wishlist might be 125 out of 297 in position, I'll get it as if I were #1 of 297. That makes NO sense to me. Not that I'm complaining. Is it because the other 124 people who have it on their list don't have it set for "yes" auto request?
I hear you William. I rarely have any credits anywhere anymore which is extremely painful when the rare books I've been looking for show up. I have one on PBS right now just taunting me because I can't get the credit I need to request it!I HAVE gone through and turned off the notification for most of my WL, but there are some I've been looking for for years and hope to get one day.
only 12... haha I know I really do want more books than are there, but I'm trying to be responsible because I currently have SO many books to read that I don't want more WL books popping up.
My wishlist is pretty much always full. I'd be ashamed to mention the number in my reminder list...Also, I'm Vanessa. Nice to be here!!
Cayr,I've noticed that too that I'll get a book that I was further back in line on and I always check to see if a buddy posted it to me. I was number 6 on a book on Friday and got it last night. It's not a fast moving book either so I'm not sure what was up with that. If it's not on auto that person has 48 hours to respond so I don't think it's auto request that moves them up so fast. It's a strange place at times. lol
I just noticed that PBS now gives you how many wishes were granted and an estimate of how many weeks that it will be to get a book on the waiting list. I love that feature! I hope that the estimates are correct! :)

Mine are too, but I love knowing where I am in on the list and how many wishes were granted in the last week.
I have 71 wish listed. Last month was a good month for wl books as I had 5 come up that I had on my list since I started on pbs in 2007. This month just one so far.
I've got about 40 hard-to-get titles for memoir writing and others where I'm way at the end of the queue. At one time my wish list was over 300 (when it was allowed). Have that many books in my TBR pile now, so I'm in read and re-post mode. Do miss the anticipation of getting a book in the mail several times a week though.
