The puppet story doesn't ring true for me!

Yah I dont know about the speculation on Puppet either. I'd have to read his part in the story again.

Might do that tonight...I know his page needs editing on the wiki anyhow...

Scans | 64 comments I do not think that we have seen the last of the Cthaeh. I think Kvothe will have to go back to it in order to obtain the Rhinna flower, which can heal any wound. That'd be a cool way for him to get his powers back.

The only reason I would disagree is he doesn't seem to know about that flower when Bast brings it up.

Then when he explains it, Kote connects it with the story of the Fastingway War.

However, I could see Kote going back. That'd be legit.

I sorta keep hoping that Kvothe's "bad deed" whatever that may be. Is that he set the Ctheah free. Though I have a quite the dilemma adding any weight to that.

Scans | 64 comments Yes I think that he would go back after his "story" is complete now that he has the knowledge of the flower. The Ctheah is a significant character though. That would be crazy if he released the Cthaeh but wouldn't Bast have known about it?

I'm gonna go with no for a lot of reasons. Faen don't go to Cthaeh. They don't even talk about it. The Sithe even appear to be shirking their duty. It could technically be free during the story and no one would ever know. It could get free at the end of DoS and no one would have a clue for, well, however many books Pat wanted to have it skulk in the background. And Bast hooked up with Kvothe two years back, before whatever magor event sent him into hiding.

Is it wrong that I get amped up everytime you don't shoot down one of my idea's Thistle?

LOL.

I think it would pretty awesome if The Ctheah were set free. It'd also be cool if it had something to do with the Lackless Box and Naming.

That's a theory I'll have to stew on for awhile though.
