Why editing character pages doesn't count as a librarian edit?
It would encourage people to make better ones.
Does anyone know?

Brandon | 13 comments I think it's just the way the programming code works. It's the same reason each new author added to a book counts as a separate edit, but adding a birth date, gender, bio, and website to an author's page counts as a singular edit. (I've also noticed adding a twitter name doesn't count as an edit.)

From what I've seen, the character pages are relatively unused, so if changing something like this would encourage more people to fix them up, I'd be all for it counting as a librarian edit, but then it might not be possible due how it's currently coded.

Thanks for the answer, Brandon.
I've also noticed that character pages are relatively unused, that's why I wish something would encourage people to use them.
