What if one of us changed the name of our Hawaii to Honolulu?

Personality: Maylea's personality depends on how you know her. She is usually a very like able girl. Very sweet, cheery, optimistic. She tries to make people like her and she succeeds often. She has a magnetic aura, basically. She will do anything for a friend and she treats all people like family.
Of corse, she was an island based on tribes and she was once a very powerful sea base. So you know that Honolulu is not soft. She has military training and she is very good with herbs and navigating threw forests and throwing spears. She usually does not bring this side out(well the foresty nature side that can speak to animals). She only does under desperate circumstances. The only other time that she will act cross and mean to a person is when she is around Japan. Yes, Japan. Pearl Harbor? Exactly.
Hawaii is usually care free and friendly and loves to party. She never lets a promise go, even if it seems almost impossible.
Appearance:Honolulu does not look like the traditional Hawaiian. Her appearance is influenced by living with the states and her surroundings. She has deep brown hair that is wavy and shines brightly. Her hair is almost always down and it is grown out so it reaches just below her waist. It doesn't help that it is very thick. She has a kink in her hair that sticks out the left side of her head. It represents the slight curl of the Hawaiian Islands. It is also the color of sand. There is also a hawaiian flower(usually red or pink) that is on the opisite side of her curl.Her eyes are large and sparkling blue, the same color of a spring by a volcano. She looks like a child because of those big, blue eyes. Her skin naturally tan(even though California denies that she tans), but you can tell that she would have rosy cheeks. She is very slender but.....flat......*cough*.
On her back is a scar. It is usually hidden by her tropical clothing, but Hawaii knows its there. It is from the Pearl harbor.

Family: America and the other states are her adopted family. Her true family are the small islands that where inhabited by the poly-somethings. Oh, and then there is Hawaii.
