Just because it wasn't written by historians doesn't mean that it's not true. Normal people know stuff too and the only inaccuracy I've EVER spotted was when some fangirl changed the Sealand page to say he was recognized and it was very quickly changed. Wikipedia isn't a place where morons type whatever the hell they please, it's a place where people who know stuff try to educate the rest of the world! And they have a staff on hand to fact check everything that ANYONE types along with grammatical correction. And have you ever seen all of the references on some of these articles? People. aren't. making. this. stuff. up.
