Terrie (terriet) | 2 comments I recently disambiguated Martin Clark, with the one I'm concerned with being Martin space space Clark. I also had posted a quote, but it only gives one "Martin Clark" option when selecting the author, which then causes it to give the list of books associated with Martin space Clark, not Martin space space Clark. By typing Martin spc spc Clark I can get it associated with the right Clark, but not the specific book.

Melody (runningtune) | 13300 comments The way I would do it is edit the quote. When you are in edit mode and begin to enter the author - the options to select will pop up. For instance entering Martin(space)Cla will get you Martin Clarke, Martin Clark, Martin Clayton and so on. Entering Martin(space space)you get Martin Clark, Martin Cdasv 1093 and Martin Cole (although I'm not sure why because they don't seem to have an extra space). But anyway, entering the name with the extra space will get the quote to associate with the correct author.

Terrie (terriet) | 2 comments Nope, that doesn't work, because entering Martin space space Clark only shows you one option for Martin Clark: Martin space Clark

Anyhow, this became moot as the author mentions his middle name (which I couldn't find anywhere) in the afterword for the book, so I now have him disambiguated that way, and therefore no problem.

Melody (runningtune) | 13300 comments Which quote is it and I'll change it? I can find it - so I'll be happy to make the change for you.

Edit: Just reread your post and you said you added his middle initial. Glad you solved it.
