Yayyy Lethal, great news! So jealous, sigh.
I'm just going to wait one more day if that's okay, in the vain hope that my next BD order is arriving tomorrow. If not, I'll choose from my existing bookcase.

This is all I got right now, but it says it all. :)
Fan-f*cking-tastic!! The only thing that could've made this any better would've been about 200-500 more pages of Kate & Curran goodness. Alas, the waiting begins again. So sad, but so excited to see what's to come for this perfectly matched pair in the future.
Thank you, Ilona & Andrew!! Anything I can do to help you write faster? I'm at your beck and call, just say the word.
Full review to follow after I can formulate words other than Awesome! Fantastic! Touching! Heartbreaking! Kick-Ass! :) More?! Please & Thank you!
LOL! If I needed a forklift license to move the thing around the house and the Hulk to hold it for me while I read, it still wouldn't have been long enough. >;)

Sandra wrote: "Hubby's got a forklift license, anybody know the Hulk?"LOL!! Let's tell Ilona & Andrew they can now write a much, much, much longer book.
Great rules change, Steph! I think the game needed it so good idea.
Well the kids at BD haven't come through, so here's my book:
.
I know, I can't believe I haven't read it yet either.

I'm actually shocked that no-one has browbeaten you into reading it already. You should like these ones Moss!

Glad ya'll like the game change. Time to whoop some butt. :DEnjoy Moon Called, Moss. I'm with Sandra, hard to believe you've been able to sneak around as a Mercy virgin for this long.
Miss Steph, just thought I'd drop in and say how fabulous those game stats are. Love the mini game boards too!

Gonna try posting this on my phone while I have good coverage. Pardon any typos. I finished Blameless last night (06/14/11). I'm giving it ★★★★. I'm really enjoying this series so much. I'm glad I tried it. This book lost a star for me because there was very little Lord Maccon. Other than that it was action packed and full of twists (one in particular that I never saw coming, but still find very intriguing). I don't want to spoil things to much but needless to say I am very much looking forward to the next book. I went ahead and pre-bought it and will probably read it as soon as it is delivered to my kindle.

Yay! Congrats on finishing Blameless, Crystal! I'm glad you liked it despite it not having many Lord Maccon scenes. =( I like him too.

Good going Crystal! How are you liking Magic Slays, Lethal?
Does this mean we can get the first of our two chips on the board?

I only first read Moon Called in January. Then I promptly went out and bought the next books. I haven't acquired/read River Marked yet (I'm too cheap to pay that much). I can't believe I waited so long to start that series. I have given each book 5 stars. I have the first book from Briggs' Alpha and Omega series. I need to get that read to tide me over till River Marked is a bit cheaper. All that to say, you are in for a treat Moss. :-D
Cool, I am excited about the prospect of a new heroine to obsess over. I can't feed the Kate habit much longer.

      Mercy isn't here yet, Steph.
But Kate is.

WOOHOO, so MS finally made it? YAY! *helps Moss off the floor, she just passed out, didn't die* ;)
Good thing you guys got really soft plush carpet in here. *rolls around on the floor* Sooooo niiiiiice....

I'm enjoying my vacation. Thanks for asking Steph! I really really really needed a break from work. I'm so stressed out there that I swear my hair is falling out. I think it's about to get worse too as I'm pretty sure they are going to make me 2nd shift supervisor. *sigh* More pay = more stress. Apparently I'm going to need to try this Kate Daniels series. Seems like it's awesomesauce. I have the first book on my wishlist at paperbackswap.com so hopefully I'll be able to get it soon.
Crystal - I'm on PBS too. I still need to read the series. I have the first one, and the next 4 will be on their way to me soon. I can post them to you when I am done......

      Hi all,
Okay, finished
yesterday (16/06/2011). Am giving it 3 stars (actually 3.5, but we're all aware of GR's limitations). It was an entertaining read, and I quite liked it. Mercy is a well-written character, if a little bland for my taste, and the plot was interesting enough. It veered a little too much into the murder-mystery realm for my liking, but the story kept moving, which was good. The book was also obviously written at a time when the whole vamp-wolf wave was just cresting, so that may be why I felt the world-building was a little ho-hum.
The writing shone when it came to the wolves, though. Briggs writes them grim and mean, and full of really objectionable personality traits, and I like that. I like that they're not untarnished pure souls and Gryffindor swords of truth. They have terrible attitudes to women, and really brutal ways of keeping power. Which is how it should be.
I'm not sure I'll follow the series, but I did enjoy this book as a stand-alone.

Oh, Moss, I hope you continue on with the series. It does get better. Although, if it's not your thing, it's not your thing. Very glad you decided to check it out though.

Great review, Moss! I wasn't a big fan of "Moon Called" myself. I like Brigg's "Alpha & Omega" series much more.
-★★★★★ 6/17What an amazing addition to the "Kate Daniels" series! I love the dynamic between Kate & Curran. They are without a doubt one of the best couples I've had the pleasure to read about in UF. At first I was like "HELL no!" but after what happened at the end of MS, I think Kate is just about ready to defeat her daddy. I'd love to be a fly on the wall when they finally cross paths. I'm sure the showdown will be epic.
