breaking into a new genre

I have been writing books on sailing for the past 35 years including several narratives but mostly seamanship and how to's about cruising under sail. The first eight were published by a big New York house. When our editor left the company we took over publishing our own titles. All have sold very nicely. Now I have written Bull Canyon, a Boatbuilder, a Writer and Other Wildlife which is a memoir. it is getting lovely reviews including one in the online edition of Publisher Weekly - but so far it is not getting much notice beyond my sailing readers. I have used Goodreads give aways - nice results but would appreciate ideas as to getting to the broader audience. I am not comfortable with self promotion but am comfortable providing interviews, excerpts. I do have a dedicated website just for this book. Thanks for any suggestions - Lin Pardey
