This group is pretty new and we're trying to get it off the ground...so thanks for joining!! I'm glad you chose ours! LOL!
I remember as a kid I hated reading. My older sister and my mother read constantly. My mom would even read at red lights...that's how much she read. Somewhere around my mid to late teens that all changed and I became a voracious reader. I credit them for setting that example for me.
Now my daughter is 4 and I'm expecting another baby in August. Our late nights consisted of reading while feeding and now my daughter loves to look through books. She has an extensive library and she already finds joy in the pages of stories. I hope that can be a great example for my little guy coming in August!
The best we can do as parents is the set the example and hope they follow right??
Anyway. I look forward to discussing books with you. And thanks again for joining our group. Hopefully with new people our participation will take off!

That's true. I am part of another group that has a crazy amount of members. I just couldn't keep up so I don't even try anymore.
I just found GR recently and have been pretty addicted so far. A great resource for keeping track of books and getting ideas and reviews on books I would have never thought of. So naturally the next step is joining a club. This one seemed seemed just right. So thank you for letting me participate.
