Name: Alaina, or AliGender: Female
Age: 16
Realm: Beloved of Ris
Appearance: Height is 5' 4'', and she's very slim. She has silky black hair that falls halfway down her back. It looks almost blue in the moonlight. Her eyes are the color of coal. Her face is kind of hollow, making her eyes stand out. She always has dark circles under her eyes from not getting enough sleep. Her skin is uncallused and paler than most, and she never has roses in her cheeks because she's always inside. She has thin, strong, ink-stained hands. She's a scribe.
Personality: She spends her days in the cool, dark palace. She can write beautifully. She writes many documents and messages at the direction of the khan, so she knows a lot about the war. She is a little disdainful of the uneducated working class. Alaina loves to learn. She reads scrolls late into the night and knows a lot about history and legend. She discusses things with the other scribes. She's not reclusive; she just is particular about the people she talks with. She doesn't talk to people outside the palace very much and considers them beneath her notice. She has friends among the other scribes, but she doesn't have any really close friends. She doesn't tell anyone her secrets. She also has a strong belief in social etiquette and rules. She's very respectful in the presence of those who outrank her.
History: Her parents were reasonably well-off, and apprenticed her to a scribe when she was 7. They died when she was 8. Even though she's not an apprentice anymore, the scribe who taught her the trade is still her friend. He's an older man named Radhon. She really respects him.

except umm I'm a little rusty on this series. I remember what happens in the book but I don't really remember the differences between the different realms (if there are any) except for thoughts of under being like evil.... haha

Appearance: Very wavy dark brown hair that falls inches below her shoulders, very pretty light brown eyes used to study people she doesn't know, slight tan skin, just about average height, possibly a little shorter, slender but definitely not weak
Personality: Usually hides the emotion from her face but if you know her well, you can pick up on the small ways she still portrays her emotion through her actions, quiet but not as much shy as observant and careful, very loyal to her good friends, very clever and can use that to trick people with words, friendly and doesn't have an obvious temper but she can be very determined, very careful about who she trusts
History: She was born in Vera's Blessing but her parents sent her to Beloved of Ris at a very young age, for an unknown reason, to live with a family that they had met maybe once or twice before. Because of this, she is pretty much considered to have lived her whole life in Beloved of Ris. Few actually know that she wasn't born there.
