What are the joys and frustrations of writing historical fiction? Is it easier or harder to do than writing stories set in contemporary time? Why do authors pick the eras they pick?

Adrienna (adriennaturner) Not writing historical fiction, but have considered to write one in reference to Jazz elements and another based on slavery elements (historical fiction). Yet, I write inspirational books at this time. Working on an apocalyptic thriller at this time.

I don't want to write for awhile, instead prepare for LSAT and reading many books I got behind in the last 2 years.

Inspirational and apocalyptic at the same time? Sounds interesting ...

Adrienna (adriennaturner) I guess you can say that, but more so apocalyptic thriller. At first, I thought it was too much to classify as inspirational suspense-drama thriller, more so about apocalypse and series of events happening now but written since 2006.
