Did you know that 1 tablespoon of Kikkoman soy sauce has 920 mg of sodium in it? That's 38% of your recommended daily allowance of sodium for the entire day. I decided that it was time to check out Kikkoman's less sodium soy sauce, which has 575 mg of sodium (24% of your RDA). This was my first official product switch, and I was hoping my family wasn't going to hate it.
I put out two small bowls with the old and new soy sauce, and we did our taste test. Not only did everyone unanimously like the less sodium soy sauce, we all liked it better. A LOT better.
So our first product switch was a success.
I couldn't find the nutrition info at the Kikkoman site, but I did find it for both products on these two independent sites:
Valerie: Didn't see your post when I responded to Bunny's. I am going to head over to one of my Asian markets after work tomorrow and check things out.
