So I've pre-ordered the ebook for dance on my Nook. Does anyone know what time new books go up on their release date? Is it a fantasy for me to think it might become available at the stroke of midnight?

Midnight where? I think most of the time it's Midnight Pacific time.
Hey, I'm six to nine hours ahead of most of you (I guess), so does that mean...?Well, meh, I can only assume that Nokomis.FL is right, although it might be a good argument for preordering just to see when it actually will be delivered.
Man. I'm waiting. It's awful. I even checked whether I really actually pre-ordered it or whether I just imagined clicking the Pre-Order button. But my Kindle order history clearly states the order, so I must have.Damn! What's taking so long?
Woke up this morning and checked, via my Android, while working out. It magically arrived in my archive during the night. Something very cool and mysterious about this.

I've worried about asking for ebooks as gifts because of this - someone kindly buys you something and there's no gratification in giving the gift, because they never get to see you open it or appreciate it. It's like giving away nothing. They don't get to see the magic.
Update: It was available Midnight EST. All my dreams came true!!
