I think thats him I know his name started with a B.
I think Thorin, even though he can be sort of mean and overly-stern, is my favorite.

Bombur
Bombur
Ooops...that question was already answered.. my mistake.
I liked Dain who came to their rescue from the Iron Hills. He shows up, unexpectedly finding two different armies in his way and he's completely unfazed. Rather than acting as if,"I better tread carefully here," he reacts with "out of my way or we fight!" I have to admire someone who's not intimidated by others.

Who doesn't?

Who doesn't?
Someone who doesn't like football movies that's who. Not me of course but there are a few out there.
I was kidding I have friends who hate the movie.
I want to say Thorin, but he always seemed so flawed as a character/leader/king. His hissy fit with the elf king was purely childish, not to mention the fact that Bilbo did all the real work and Thorin treated him like crap til the end... I'm gonna say Fili and Kili. Even though they were the youngest they seemed to think straight under stress unlike the others who either cared more about food (Bombur) or Gold (All the Rest) and they always seemed to be the most level headed and cool dwarves, not to mention they were like the dwarves' special forces during the 6 Army War. (Spoiler) To bad they didn't make it...
You have some really good points to why you like them J.P.
The Hobbit is one of my favorite but I can't chose a favorite.
I hated reading, writing, and books before I found a worn copy of The Hobbit in my grade school library when I was about 9 years old. The librarian said I was to young to read the book, but I was such a hardheaded kid then and when people said can't to me it was a challenge so I chose to prove her wrong... I spent more time in the library then at recess ever since. Its the book that opened my eyes to books.
Cool I've always loved to read(thank goodness)because of my mom she is always reading and taught me to read when I was 3
but Kili is so funny and really optemisic!
My favourites are Fili and Kili. Although not nearly as much as Gimli, who won me over forever with: "You have chosen the Evening, but my love is given to the Morning."
