These days, I'm hanging out a lot with Raina, one of my best friends and fellow youth services librarian. We both love YA books, Olympia, and dressing up for a night on the big town. ;)

That picture was taken in a zoo in Germany that was deserted, apart from the animals and the ticket seller. They sold popcorn you could eat yourself or feed the animals and there were chickens everywhere. Some of the animals didn't live under the best conditions, the lions for example just had concrete. To add to the atmosphere, it was raining that day. Still, it was great experience to be so close to the animals for once.

My family and I went to Seaside, OR for a family reunion vacation. And we went to Cannon beach. It was so fun! Btw I used to live in Corvallis, OR
