I havn't read all of the books, I started with Breaking Dawn. In your opinion, which was the best? Why????

eclipse. Because it gives Jasper's story, and because of the awesome battle.
Breaking Dawn.
The first one "twilight".
Twilight! No questions about it.
Twilight was great, especially because I didn't know what to expect. But I would have to say that Eclipse is my favorite of the series.
Eclipse and second New Moon because I fell in love with Jacob in that book. At first I really wanted Edward to come back and I kept asking my friend that already read it like damn when does he come back. And then later I was like I don't want him to come back.

I have to say either Twilight or Eclipse. When my friend made me read Twilight and read the first couple chapters, I was about to throw the book away because it was just Bella explaining her move and her family. But when I kept reading, I didn't expect anything that happened! New Moon was just terrible because Edward was gone most of the book, and it was just Bella trying to save him. Eclipse was really good because I wanted to keep reading to see what happens next. I felt the same way with Breaking Dawn. Breaking Dawn was very interesting, to say the least.
I love Breaking dawn but I want her to write another story because she really left use hanging at the end I think.
I LOVE breaking dawn! I think it's the best book in the series! But I do love the other books!!
Twilight, because it was a simple love story and I loved it! No triangles, peril, I liked Bella, it was fine! I read on, waiting for Edward to bite her XD
I would love to say Eclipse because I get to know Jasper more and I love Jasper, but the whole love triangle between Edward Bella and Jacob just made me frustrated
The first one was the best. After that I felt like the author ran out of things to say and was just throwing stuff out there.
Thanks for telling me. I have read Breaking Dawn and Twilight only so far...Out of those 2, Breaking Dawn waz the best.
I like all 4 equally, actually.
I love all four, but if I HAD to choose, it would be Breaking Dawn, since it's the longest and had the most going on throughout the story.
Twilight, hands down.

For myself, I prefer Twilight. After that, each book got progressively annoying. I was sick of the series till the end.
I think Breaking Dawn was the best!
For me, it was the first and the last: Twilight, then Breaking Dawn. Twilight set it up, then Breaking Dawn brought it full circle. But i still think there's plenty more mileage in this series. Come on, Stephenie, give us some more!!! We're all still hungry!!!!
Eclipse is the best, in my opinion. It has the most action and you really get to feel what Bella is feeling when she has to choose between Edward and Jacob. I like it!
The first and second one! I can't choose between them :)

I'd have to say Twilight or Breaking Dawn for me, but If Stephani would finish Midnight Sun I for sure without a doubt that one would be my favorite, The partial draft was just so fascinating. I really wish she'd finish it.
Eclipse is deffinetly the best book in the saga!

I maybe the only one but i liked New Moon the best.
Personally I dont like the series at all... The first, and only book I was able to appreciate was New Moon... her introduction of werewolves into the series was flawless and her use of character emotion to convey the loss and discovery of love was awesome in my opinion. I enjoyed how Bella warred against her longing for Edward and her curiosity about Jacob. One of the few things Stefanie Meyer did right with that series... capture the trueness of human emotion. LOL So yeah... NEW MOON for sure was the best for me.

Twilight is all about the story, and suspense of impending love and danger which is a really fun ride. But I thought New Moon slowed it down and let us really get to know the characters. And Bella changed from a co-dependent wimp totally relying on Edward, to a motorcycle riding, cliff diving, survivor who learned the value of being independent and making her own choices. I think that's an important lesson to illustrate to all the tweens reading this series.
They were all fantastic books! Twilight was good but a little bit boring towards the start although by the end it was highlt impossible to put the book down! New Moon was good but a little bit dissapointing when Edward wasn't there because Bella was too depressing to read about. Eclipse was very good but Jacob was too moody and the fight scene was kind of boring. I would have to say that Breaking Dawn was the best. Breaking Dawn wrapped things up nicely but I was very sad to have to end the series. Renesmee was a great note to leave on and Jacob finally being happy was nice.
Hey Caitlin,I think Eclipse was the best.There was more story in it and there was an EPIC battle. it was sad when bree died but it also allowed us to see jaspers story and how he and alice met. Breaking dawn is a good book but its annoying how its in 3 parts. BTW i'm talking about the book

I'm not talking about the movies, none of the movies are that great anyway. Eclipse has all the good fights but Breaking Dawn has the drama and it ends the stories. Eclipse leaves you wanting more.

Yes but edward proposes in Eclipse and Breaking dawn is in 3 parts it goes:
Bella, Jacob, Bella.
I was never talking about the movies the books give you a great sense of excitement as the movies but the books allow you to get more details out of it.

Oh. I like the three parts in the book. It gives you different perspectives and it's nice to see how other REALLY feel instead of Bella badly interpretting them! Edward may have proposed in Eclipse but the actual marrage is far better than a really dissapointing proposal.
In my opinion Breaking Dawn was the best book of the series. It brought the first three together nicely. With Jacob imprinting on Renessme, it does leave the opportunity for Stephenie Meyers, to spin off, into another series.........
I would have to say that my favourite of the four books is Eclipse because it provided an in depth backstory for most (if not all) of the Cullen family (if I remember correctly).Second to that, I would say Twilight.
Both New Moon and Breaking Dawn were horrendous. New Moon felt really whinny throughout (except for the end in which she encounters Edward again). Breaking Dawn, however, just seemed far too contrived - I felt as if Meyer had begun to censor herself because of all the parents reading and had to resort to disappointingly bad plot twists and writing.
I think the best one is Eclipse!! I think it has a good balance between action and romance! :)
I enjoyed the last one the most because Bella finally get her wish. She knda got on my nerves at times in the series, but, some heroines do that at times. Edward was my fav character. Can't wait to see the movie when it comes out.
It's amazing how divided the opinions are out there. So many people love Breaking Dawn the best, so many love New Moon the best, and of course the same for Twilight & Eclipse, there just seems to be no overall majority vote. I don't think I've ever seen another series like that before.
Eclipse has so much action! New moon is kind of slow...Then Breaking Dawn is just so EPIC and Twilight is flat in some parts since its the first. They all have good and bad to them but I think Eclipse is still the best:P
