Yes, she's very intense. Both with the lust and the hatred. It's not every heroine who stabs the hero in the side and then they go at it anyway, all covered in blood!
I'm going to ration out my Rosemarys because I don't want to gorge on them and then have nothing left!

You know how sometimes you get that zingy..."
Oh, I'm envious. Teresa Denys and Natasha Peters were the last writers I was crazy about, and their back-lists are miniscule.
Pace yourself, girl! There's a lot of bad writing out there, and when you find something you like you should enjoy it slowly and savor it.
I think I'm going to reevaluate a lot of my ratings of books I read 15-20 years ago and start grading on a scale because some of the stuff I'm reading today just pales. And it's not nostalgia, I re-read them and still enjoy the oldies. So it's not me that's changed...it's the books.

Amen!
Amen!
You know how sometimes you get that zingy feeling when experiencing something important and life-changing in your reading life? Yeah, well, that's what I've felt when reading Rosemary Rogers. I haven't felt this giddy about an author/series since I started Colleen McCullough's Masters of Rome series back in the mid 1990s. Oh my, Steve Morgan vs. Lucius Cornelius Sulla. I can't decide. They're both pretty!
I know I'm babbling here, but tell me you have all had that ecstatic jumping into the deep end euphoria! Or else I'll start thinking I need to have my head examined. XD
