Jace. No question about it. There wasn't even a love triangle in my mind because the answer was always so obvious to me. [Even when he was supposedly her brother, which I knew he wasn't.] Simon is her best friend.

As hot and sexy and beautiful as Jace is, i have to go with Simon. Simon is alot sweeter, and really funny.
Jace just felt like a child most of the time, and his temper was kinda off annoying.
But it's really funny to read about Jace and Clary because they are so different. So i would go for Jace to be with Clary, but i would prefer Simon.

Simon! I always like like the guy that the girl isn't suppossed to fall for.

I want Jace for myself!!! Clary can have Simon or whoever else she might want!! ;P

Jace all the way, he is sexy and awesome, and has a great sense of humor- great qualities for a boyfriend!

JACE. I really like the character of Jace and found him to be a really likable character unlike Simon. Although i have to say that i don't really like Clary all that much. When she is with Jace alone she ain't that bad but at all other points in the book she really annoys me.

How is this even a question.

Simon. Don't get me wrong, I love Jace. so hot and he would be an AWESOME boyfriend. but for me, I would prefer a Simon. we would get along better. :)

I love Jace!!!! He is so awesome and I love how he is really quick with his responses. Jace is the only character in a book (besides Magnus Bane) who is able to make me laugh :D

Why is this even a discussion?! Jace is.... there are no words. Usually, I think its attractive when a guy doesnt know he's attractive (like Four in divergent) but that rule doesnt apply for Jace. He's a jerk, but I love him BECAUSE he's a jerk, and he has stuff going on with him as to why he is a jerk. Simon ticked me off in all the books except for the fifth one. I only liked him in the second when he broke up with Clary because even though Jace and Clary were brother and sister, i didnt care. And i read the series after CoLS came out so i was like "theres no way theyre brother and sister, look at that embrace theyre sharing. And my friend spoiled it too so i was like "YESSSSSSS! JACE + CLARY FOREVER!!!"
I dont understand how in the world you can read the book and not fangirl the hell out when Jace goes all like "I will always dream of you" or in CoA when he smashes the table and yells "Clary is NOT going without me" or in the third when he says "I wont touch you, not if you dont want me too" lol, i just..... I LOVE YOU JACE!!!!!

I've always rooted for Simon. Jace strikes me as the kind of character ideal for a strong but short-lived love story. Whereas Simon is more the type you can stay with for your whole life, and be happy with until the end.
