Dhanaraj Rajan | 7 comments I have read some of her books and they are just fantastic. I am yet to read the so called historical masterpieces of Undset. Having just read some of her 'minor' works I can say that she is a genius. If you are a person interested in strong female characters or an investigation into the female psyche, I will strongly advise you to read her novels.

Begin with the shorter works (Gunnar's Daughter, The Unknown Sigrid Undset: Jenny and Other Works, Jenny) and she will bewitch you. But bypassing her you may miss a fantastic reading experience.
