I ran off the "stage" to my parents. That was the end of my ballet/any kind of dance career.
The scariest/most nerve racking moment I've ever had on holiday was In London. It was our second to last day before flying to Amsterdam, and we got up in the morning to see a crowed of people gathered around the TV in the foyer. A series of bombs had been found inside the Amsterdam airport, and they had not caught a suspect. Definitely made me feel safe flying to Amsterdam 40 hours later :S
Oh, and on our first night in Paris, we went for a walk to the Eiffel Tower, and there were police running all around shouting and putting up a mini-wall around the base of the tower; there were news reports and everything...Apparently there was a bomb threat on the Eiffel Tower. The most popular rumor I heard was that there actually was a bomb on/in the tower and they were trying to defuse it. I dont know if its true, but there were so many scared people :S
And every night on the news in Paris were reports of the English Prime Minister, US President, Australian Prime Minister giving warning to travelers to be safe and travel with extreme caution around landmarks. We were there in the hear of that giant terror scare on Europe late last year.
But it was still the best four weeks of my life :P

Yikes. That must have been terrifying.

In retrospect, it was. But my parents didn't tell me til I got home. I'm just glad we got home.

Way- woah. That's crazy."
I sure did.

I'd LOVE to go to any of those. Those three would be in my top 5 European countries I want to visit.

hah, yeah.

Definitely."
I'm extremely grateful to my parents. They are awesome.

Nat- but of course!

They just trust me about my own personal life and what I do.

Same here :P They give me a lot of freedom about things to do with other people, and they never restrict what I'm reading or watching, but I'm never allowed to go anywhere on my own.
