ISBN: 000721782X. I've communicated with the author who is appalled. I changed the cover yesterday but the wrong one is back. Is this coming from Amazon?

Amazon has the same one as us. Janny Wurts designs her own covers. This is the cover for the previous novel, Stormed Fortress, and someone has co opted it, putting 'Initiate's Trial' in the title space.
Then this is probably due to Amazon. If by changing it you couldn't fix it I don't know what any of us librarians can do about it. Whenever the author releases the actual cover we can change it I hope, until then, just delete the cover and try again.
