Jordan shot Saffy an evil glare, the effect somewhat marred by the fact that he was trying not to smile and a noodle was hanging out of his mouth. "So." He swallowed, then continued more clearly, "Shouldn't you be going, miss tour guide?"

She stood up. "Yes, I will show you." she replied, pointedly ignoring Jordan's comment. "This way."
((Can Jordan come with...? He'll be bored, otherwise.Actually, right now he'd be heading off to go swim and/or run laps, but that's boring to rp. Plus he's interested in Cai. So...))
((WHY DOES GOODREADS NOT GIVE ME UPDATES...))"Can I come with?" Jordan hurried after the two girls. "There's not much going on this morning..."
She headed out of the room and out the door. "The med building is this way."
She turned around and started walking backwards. "The shots are because we can be shipped off at any moment. We can't wait to get the shots then, so we get the shots now."
"Got that right," Jordan said, keeping up with the girls easily with his long stride.((Hey, where are they now? I've got a map pulled up...))
"They're not even good treats," Jordan said, his eyes dramatically wide. "Let me get that for you..." Before Cai could say anything, he took the door from her and held it open.
Jordan's eyes followed her as she walked in.((Saffy should smack him again for his silliness... lol))
((YAY!! making it up as we go along! well, I've never even read the books, so it should be fun...))
((Uh… I'll check when I get back.))Saffy smacked Jordan on the back again. "Silly boy."
((She should be smacking the back of his head.))"I really wish you would stop doing that," Jordan muttered as he entered behind the two girls. "But something tells me I'll keep getting hit for a loooong time."
((this is Ev. Hi. I'm using Dove's computer because I felt computer deprived right now.))"Is it logic that tells you that?" Cai asked, smirking.
((this is Dove again. Ev hijacked my computer. And she's denying it right now. Ev, use you own computer.))"Well, staring is rude. Didn't anyone ever tell you that? Hi, Doc." she said, waving to the German man. "I have a new victim for you. She's new and needs her shots."
((I know you get a shot for yellow fever. I had to get one when I went to South America.))"I'll never win," Jordan moaned, slumping down in a visitor's seat.
((Ev again. and i don't have a computer, so dove can shove it! oh wait, she's coming back...))"Well, I'm the one who's getting the shots. What are they, exactly?" Cai asked Saffy.
((Dove again. Ev is (obviously) at my house, so I really don't mind too much.))
"Influenza, Cholera, Typhoid, Hep A and C, Rubella, Yellow Fever, Lassa Fever, Tetanus, Japanese Encephalitis, TB, and Meningitis. That's it, right?" she asked the doctor for confirmation. "Yes, that's all of them"
((Ev. Again. Assume that every other post is me.))"Any booster shots?" Cai asked. "In six months, yes," the doctor replied. "Le's get this over with then," she said. "What happens first?"
"The physical." Saffy said with a smile.
"I hope you don't pass out," Jordan said helpfully.
"Pass out? As if," she scoffed, grinning widely. "I have a high pain threshold, if that's what you're worried about. Actually, it's less of a threshold and more of a large and tastefully decorated foyer."
"Nice." Jordan looked up at the ceiling and started whistling. "Might as well get it over with, then."
((my friends are odd. They're smelling my hair right now.))"Yeah, this takes a while." Saffy added.
"Well, let's get started. How many times am I gonna have to say it? What do I do first?"
"A full body x-ray, a dental x-ray, blood tests, and a muscle biopsy." Doctor Kessler replied.((I found his name!!))
"A fracture!" Jordan raised his eyebrows. "Did you fall?"
((Thinking of some dialogue from a book right now..."How'd you get your face messed up?"
"I fell."
"Repeatedly? Or in with the wrong crowd?"
that isn't it exactly, but that's the general idea...))
"Ah. I should have known." Jordan looked back up at the ceiling. "A girl like you would never have let her arm break by just falling."((dude, I never knew Jordan was such a... ladies' man? ^^ I don't think that's the right word, though...))
"Uh..." Jordan was stuck, and he knew it. "I'll get back to you on that."
"Yes." The doctor pulled out a needle and a bunch of tubes. "You ready?"
"There aren't quite enough tubes on this tray for that, and I'm not going to kill you." He took the needle and pressed it into her arm, expertly putting on a tube and rapidly filling all of them.
"Possibly the muscle biopsy. Or the treadmill. Definetly during basic. If you aren't in pain at some point during basic, you aren't in basic."
"I'm not a gambling girl. You might want to try betting with some of the guys, though. They always enjoy a good betting match. Except when they lose."
"Yes, we are." he removed the needle, then took out a bigger needle. "This may pinch a bit." he said as he inserted the needle into her thigh muscle.
Jordan shook his head slightly. "And I always thought it was almost impossible for someone to be so tough," he said quietly. "I almost forgot how disillusioning the first months were..."
He pulled out the needle. "Wait here." he went into a different room."Yeah. But even if it's tough, Cherubs are tougher."
((Hey y'all, I'm (probably) not gonna be able to get onto a computer until 7/14, so if you need to, rp Jordan. See ya then~))
((that actually works for a little, cause Ev and I are going on vacation until Monday and won't be on as much as normal.))
"You never know. It's kinda fun to see what you can find while they're gone."
Jordan picked up a magazine and flipped through it. "Demi Lovato did what?"
"Something stupid," Jordan said vaguely. "Y'know, like all stars do." ((AKA I'm to lazy to come up with anything.))
"Yeah, it really is." Jordan flipped through a couple more pages. "Eucch, Robert Pattinson. Okay, done." He tossed the magazine back on the table and picked up another one.
"Nothing, I would presume. They're like bobble heads."
((thank you))"Hey, I used to know girls who liked Robert Pattinson!"
(("...And?" "And you're right. Absolutely nothing goes on in their heads." ))
"Anyone here? Because I don't know how they would've passed the entry tests…"
