"Of course not. Our defenses are really good and hardly anyone knows about us."
"Hacker, huh?" Jordan sucked down some coffee, made a face, and added more cream and sugar. "What d'you think about that, Nat? Recruiting a lawbreaker 'stead of stickin' em in jail?"
"No, the defenses are great. Your hacking skill are just amazing." She said with a shrug. "Anyway, I assume I was called here for a reason besides just talking?" She glanced over at Mac. "Yes, I would like you to give Caoilainn a tour of our campus."
Saffy stood and went to the door. "Ok. Bye, Mac."
"Anywhere from eight to eighteen. Not including staff, of course. And we might have a few younger people. Siblings are almost never split, so a couple people come here before the normal recruiting age." she responded as she walked out the door.
"They learn. By the time they're ten, they'll probably be at least a brown belt in karate, know at least one language other than english, and know how to take apart any number of weapons. Oh, and basic hacking. And we don't steal government secrets, we steal criminal's secrets."
"Pretty much. We're taught to fight dirty, too, so getting beat isn't fun."
She walked into the cafeteria. "This is the cafetiria. Are you hungry? Because breakfast is still going on, so you can get some food."
((Go walk by Jordan and introduce Caoilainn to him... he's getting bored again. And bad things happen when Jordan's bored.))
Saffy smiled. "Yeah, until next week."
"Yup. Miles, meet Caoilainn. Caoilainn, this is Miles. He's the one who made the security system you beat. And unfortunately, only Mr. Large gets coffee in Basic."
"One hundred days. Unless you quit."
"So you know about all the teachers, then."
Jordan looked up from his coffee sleepily. "Do I hear talk about ridiculously amazing hacking?" he asked, still sounding half-awake. When he saw the slim red-haired girl, though, his eyes shot open. "Saffy! Are you going to introduce me to your new friend?"
She smiled and nodded. "Of course I'm not, Jordan. Don't you remember that my life's goal is to be rude? This is Caoilinn, the person who hacked the mainframe last year. Caoilinn likes coffe and shoelaces. Caoilinn, this is Jordan. He is a boy, which I think says enough."

((sorry, having trouble getting on...))"I like challenges," Jordan said with a smile and a shrug. "During one of my... adventures, CHERUB found me and offered me a new challenge. So here I am." He thought for a moment. "Oh yeah, and I like surfing. Except not in this freezing place. Where're you from?"
Saffy finish a mug of tea she had made for herself. "And then got caught. Which is why I'm giving her the tour."
Chae Rin walked into the caffateria and got some food before looking around to find somewhare to sit
((stupid goodreads never gives me updates...))"Getting caught. But the tour too," Jordan said, grinning at Saffy.
"Hey! I give nice tours. Besides, I know about both sides of missions. Technical and feild. Plus all the teachers like me. Except for Mr. Large, but he doesn't like anyone."
"It fits him, though. He's very large."
"Large as in tall. And wide. Not fat."
"The food line's over there. There's food from pretty much everywhere."
((something obscure. Or Chinese. Or both. Ooh! Chicken feet!))"Are you a foodie? Or will you eat whatever?"
((that wasn't a serious suggestion.))"Then you'll starve in basic. Well, you starve anyways, but you get the point."
"I have a feeling she can handle it," Jordan chimed in, draining his coffee. "That tastes good? I think I'll have some." He got up, piled his plate with lots of food (not all of it identifiable as such), and sat back down. "Oops. More coffee, tour guide." He snapped his fingers at Saffy playfully.((Okay... I will never remember how to spell *looks it up* Caoilainn's name... so I'm afraid I'm going to spell it like Kaylin from now on, because (1) it's easier, (2) that's how it's pronounced, and (3) that's how Jordan thinks her name's spelled. Sorry...))
She slapped him hard with the back of her hand. "Get your own coffee."
"Owch." Jordan rubbed his head and grinned ruefully. "I guess I should have expected that." He ducked another swipe ((is that ok?)) and stood up to get his coffee. "Ladies? Anything while I'm up?"
"I think I'll take the second option," Jordan said as he headed off to the coffeepot.
"So, this is the mess hall. There's also a paintball range, an assault couse, a dojo, a library, a chapel, a track, trenches, a garage, the missions center, the schoolbuildings, a small forest, and the Basic compound."
She shrugged. "It's like any other school. You learn your route and you follow it. On the occasions you go off your route, you ask for directions."((I'm going to go to sleep, so don't wait up for another post.))

"I'd be happy to act as your guide for your first week or so," Jordan said as he reappeared. He swung his long legs under the table and gulped down some coffee, raising an eyebrow at Cai.
"I still have to take her for her shots and physical." she looked over at Cai's plate. "You might not wanna eat so much."
"So does everyone else in this school. Alot of us threw up."
"It was pretty disgusting." Jordan made a sandwich out of two slices of bread, some ham, fish, cheez whiz, and... other stuff and ate half of it in one bite. "I'm happy to say that I wasn't one of them," he said with his mouth full.((He was.))
"Liar." she told Jordan. "I saw you washing your mouth out after the shots."
