I've just finished a Library and Information Studies degree and am about to start a Masters course. My reading has slowed down a lot over the last three years, because of the degree, sadly, so my TBR pile is huge, and just keeps getting bigger...

I've also been reading the group for awhile but haven't yet introduced myself. I'm also in the LIS graduate program, with a focus on record and archival management. What are you focusing on?

Hi Sarah,

I was originally going to go into archive administration, but I got sidetracked by my dissertation topic, which was about the "real life" value of online friendships and communities, so I'm moving into research into that sort of area now. Totally different aspects of the same core subject - information science!

That's what I love about LIS - it leads into such a wide variety of areas!
