The first author of the first edition is not listed as the first author of the second. I would think the correct way to handle it would be to move the first author of the first edition to the top spot for the second edition, as combining the editions seems more important than maintaining the order.
The authors should be in the same order for combining. If there is a reason the authors should be in a different order, you can rearrange after they are combined.
I'm not sure if this is the right tread to ask for this. This book cannot be combined and I can't tell why. I edit the details to match author, title and year of publication but there's no way to combine it with its original edition. Can anyone help?
An example: High Performance MySQL: Optimization, Backups, Replication, Load Balancing & More (first edition) and High Performance MySQL: Optimization, Backups, Replication, and More (second edition) should be combined.

Would that be correct?
