I started with Oblivion. I don't feel its a big deal if you start later in the series. It's REALLY good! Great game and there is so much you can do in it. Love it!

I didn't realize that the next one was coming out this year! Yay! I'm excited!

Mawgojzeta Andrew: Thank you.

message 54: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (shadowrose) Mawgojzeta: I love the portal games. Sometimes it's frustrating but it's so addicting. I agree with Andrew, if you started with Oblivion that's fine. I only played about an hour of Morrowind (the one before Oblivion) and it didn't effect how I played at all.

Andrew: Yes it is! 11-11-11, it looks amazing.

message 55: by Mawgojzeta (new)

Mawgojzeta Michelle: I already added it to my Steam wish list. Fun fun.

message 56: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (shadowrose) I hope you enjoy it when you get to play :)

Mawgojzeta Thank you.

Simon Chambers | 5 comments I try to keep myself busy. When I am not writing or reading my main two hobbies are running airsoft games for my grandchildren and their friends and I run a parachute group, which jumps every other month.

Cate (The Professional Fangirl) (chaostheory08) | 199 comments If I'm not reading, I'm answering emails. Yeah, work. XD But it still leaves me enough time to read.

message 62: by Reading Wolf (new)

Reading Wolf (readingwolfminda) Usually if I'm not reading I'm here (discovering new books) or on the Nook's Facebook page trying to help people with questions (cause I'm nice like that HAHA)

I don't really watch a lot of tv..more like I listen to tv. HAHA.

Heidi Angell (heidiangell) | 211 comments When I am not reading, I am making video reviews of books on Youtube (you can check them out on my channel http://www.youtube.com/user/HeidiAnge... )

Writing my next great (hopefully) book, helping on a blog spot radio, Angels and Warriors.

Around all the cleaning, child-rearing and general madness of living in a house with three men!!

Oh and I like to get active whether that be swimming, biking, playing at the park or some fun workout videos like P90X or Tae-bo!

There is NEVER enough time in a day!!

Priscilla | 17 comments When I am not reading I am crafting. Making fimo charms and cake toppers. I also make and decorate cakes. I love looking at you tube for all sorts of videos from crafting to baking to history etc. I also love learning new things, such as knitting and crochet so look this up on you tube too! I listen to music and enjoy watching tv...oh and on evenings when not reading a good book I am with a theatre group. not enough time in the day though lol

message 68: by Heidi (new)

Heidi Angell (heidiangell) | 211 comments I used to love theatre! I hope when my kids are a little bit older, I can get back into it!

aPriL does feral sometimes (cheshirescratch) After reading, I love to download NPR shows and Slate podcasts to my iPod and listen while I knit and crochet. I guess politics is a passion somewhere on my list. Listening to audiobooks and downloaded comedies and theatre radio shows is fun for me too. Housework and my walking for exercise is enlivened by iPod listening, but I always talk to neighbors and friendly neighborhood pets on my walks. That can be pretty entertaining.

Penelope Marzec (penelopemarzec) | 6 comments When I'm not reading, I'm writing. I'm working on a time travel/pirate book at the moment. Other than that, I love painting in oils--or sketching. However, the chores of life often get in the way of all my fun stuff. Sigh. :^(

message 79: by Everly (new)

Everly Anders | 24 comments When I am not reading, I'm writing. I read Stephen KingsOn Writing and he said he reads for 4 hours a day and writes for four hours a day. So now I try to do the same thing. Though I think I write for four hours and only read for about two. I think the other two hours I spend replying to my 1,100 followers on my facebook page about writing.

I try really hard. A lot of authors try to get 1000 words a day. I try for 2000, that way if I fall short I am still a little over a thousand. i guess I just got to the point where I just needed to go for it. no more excuses.
And it is really paying off. I have two stories up on Amazon and they are selling really well. I think it is all about making the choice to go for it.

Lately, when I am not reading...

I am either writing, editing, or doing photo manipulations. lol

My designer for my cover inspired me and now I am teaching myself how to do it. I'm not that bad, but I still have a lot to learn. It's sooo much fun and a great way to relax and be creative!

message 84: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 47 comments Is it like doing collage on the computer?

message 85: by Thalia (new)

Thalia (thaliaanderson) Whew, when I'm not reading?

I'm organizing. I love to do that. I want to get a job working at the public library, so I feel like practicing organizing would be good for that.

I write my own stuff. I'm currently working on seven books, at least two of which I hope to be published someday.

I do music videos on my YouTube account. It was the first thing that got me onto the internet in the first place; I can be creative with my video editing and it's a perfect way to vent emotions, good or bad. I love embracing music and putting them with clips of something that I love just as much makes me feel at ease.

I do photomanipulations; background, wallpapers, etc. I'm not the best, but it's fun and I'm getting there. I might bring something like that into my career someday. (:

message 86: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 47 comments Good luck Thalia, you sound like a really creative person. What are your books about?

message 87: by Thalia (new)

Thalia (thaliaanderson) Thank you! (:

Well, mostly I write fantasy; that sort of stuff. I like not having to abide by the rules of our reality; I feel like it limits the writing, especially when you want to go all-out, like I tend to. I only have one realistic fiction story, hahaha.

The one I've been working on longest (since I was in sixth grade, so about four/five years) focuses on nine/ten different main characters, so I spend most of my time just getting a grip on my characters, so they can be individual and the reader won't get bored with changing viewpoints.

message 88: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 47 comments I admire your scope. I'm writing one book and it seems like too much sometimes!

message 89: by Thalia (new)

Thalia (thaliaanderson) It's seems easier to get overwhelmed when you only have one thing to work on. If you have two or three things to do, you're less likely to hit a block, because you have something else to focus on. (:

message 90: by Leslie (new)

Leslie | 47 comments That makes sense.

Leslie wrote: "Is it like doing collage on the computer?"

It's more like taking photos and merging them together to look like one picture and then changing the colors, etc to create an entirely new picture. That's what cover artists do to create covers. :)

Leslie | 47 comments Wow, that sounds interesting.

It is. My cover artist and I became good friends and I decided to try it out and give her one as a thank you. Now I'm addicted! It's a lot of fun. :)

message 96: by Dave (new)

Dave Wood (pocket7976) Generally I'm finding excuses not do to any house work or gardening!!

I play in brass bands, rehearsing/concerts/after playing pub trips tend to eat into my free time.

Otherwise its TV/Cinema and the X-box (I'm currently scaring myself silly playing deadspace 2).

Leslie | 47 comments What instrument do you play, Dave?

Yeah its not a well known instrument - basically the same pitch as a Viola in an orchestra
