(Okay. :D lol)
I see. Are you a hardcore fan? I don't think I am. I like it...but not enough to join a huge HP group or Pottermore.

It doesn't show a lot about the movie or if it will be any good, but, hey, more trailers will come :D

the trailer didnt show anything! it was 1 minute of katniss running.....
I really really really really really want to see it. And I probably will. About 3 months after it comes out, it will probably come out in the cheap theatre while my sister rehearses for Where the Mountain Meets the Moon. So, I'll go then. Oh, and that play is also based on a book

Probably. I don't want to see it BAD, so I"ll wait a couple weeks so I don't have to brave the crazy crowds.

the third was boring. the only reason i finished it was to know what happened in the end. i felt like the unimportant parts were really dragged out and the important and could be really good parts were really fast.
And it was really violent and she killed so many people you love! I HATED Katniss in book 3. Her attitude and just her character annoyed my to death.
Exactly my feelings, Zoe. THat's exactly it. Katniss went from strong and persistant to weak minded in the last 2 books

It did! Now it's ruined for me. Bk 1 was the only amazsing one. The others, eh.
Klymy Team Peeta?
Klymy Team Peeta?
he knew what the bombs he created would do, didn't he? I was never sure about that. But the fact that he became bloodthirsty the moment he came to the rebel base made me despise him. He was just so disgusting. And I feel like he enjoyed killing Prim. That (view spoiler)
He was a fake, through and through. He may have like Katniss once, but once he saw power, once he knew what it was like to have control over someone else's fate, he didn't truly love her anymore.

I liked Gale in book one, but after that I didn't like him as much. I agree with you. and I just hated him in book three. Course I didn't really like 3 anyways.
Three was a waste of time. I shoulda just looked it up on Wikipedia. I wanted to read it to see how the whole thing ended, but at the same time, I just couldn't see how the story could ever reach closure. Oh, and the romance was a definite factor in my reading the book
For sure. I think that book two was pointless. It didn't acomplish anything. Except for the last line where you learn that there's no more district 12. So yeah. Pointless.
I kinda liked the set up of the Arena. But other than that, it was more of a "I'm keeping secrets from you. Mwahaha. you're just a pawn"
kinda thing
kinda thing
The arena was interesting, but I agree. She was holding us. I didn't really see the point of it. Nothing was accomplished. It was built for the cliff-hanger. Nothing else.
The cliff-hanger didn't really affect me, actually. And the whole "Lets bring back the old tributes" was kinda, expected, once it happened. Of course Snow was going to try to get revenge on Katniss!
For sure. Same with me. I don't think the cliff-hanger was much of one. I mean it's a bit expected. Cliche even.
Otherwise, how would there even be a third book. If Collins just condensed a bit, I think the two books would have gone nicely as one.
Has anyone read gregor the overlander?
Has anyone read gregor the overlander?
EXACTLY. Looking back Catching Fire was nice read, but just pointless. That is the summary of our conversation. HAHA I like summaries. EPIC right?!
Oh course right.
Nooooooo. I've neva eva eva eva EVA read Gregor the Overlander. Tis it good? It didn't look at all like something I would want to read.
the cover stinks.......
Oh MY GOSH.
oops...
I did it Klymy! AAAAAAAAAH

What?! What did you do? Judge a book by its cover?! *gasp* Hannah, thats terrible!
By the way, its actually a pretty good book. I'd recommend it to my (younger) sister. Its completely different from the Hunger Game series. Its about a guy that falls down a laundry chute... ugh. it sounds so lame like that. Lets just say I really, really liked it when I read it at the first. But now, reading it again, I realize that its completely not for my current age group. But it was good while it lasted. Hm, as good as, ah, 90% as good as Ender's Game. Um... Its just so different from other books that its so hard for me to compare them!

Yes Klymy.....I did. Isn't it a TRAGEDY?! *tears at hair, wailing* Oh help me Klymy from this terrible sin. I'm a criminal..... Don't let them take me! I won't go to JAIL! Neva!!! I'm innocent!!!!!
Uh, yeah that does sound lame......I never read Enders Game....
