Hunger Games (whole series, so if you have not read all 3, well that's ur prob.) *SPOILERS*

im so happy, its national book week here. i get to by lots of really cheep books. yay!!!!

I like them. Not just while I was reading them, but in retrospect as well.

Still, Mockinjay was really good.

I will admit to the Gale randomly disappearing without any reason. And it was sad that Finnick died.
I mean, he just got married! Annie was pregnant!
*Sob*
I think the reason I like Mockingjay was because Peeta got hijacked. The rest was... so so. But Peeta got hijacked! And that was what made the book for me

I think after Coin died they decided against it.
One second...
Wikipedia says:
"In the epilogue, Katniss speaks as an adult, more than fifteen years later. She is married to Peeta and they have two children. The Hunger Games are over, but she dreads the day her children learn the details of their parents' involvement in both the Games and the war. When she feels upset, Katniss has taken to reminding herself of every good thing that she has ever seen someone do."
It sounds like the games are completely over.

Are you sure something isn't wrong with your brain? :D

Yeah I get that. And I do agree. Mockingjay was just not written as smoothly, like you said. And not as well.

I assumed that Katniss voted yes so that Coin would think she had her support so that Katniss could shoot her instead of Snow. And when her and Haymitch sort of lock eyes in understanding, Haymitch knew her plan.
Think about it, would Katniss or Haymitch honestly want what happened to them to happen to innocent children? Even if they are from the Capitol. They wouldn't want to kill 23 kids and ruin one's life forever. They've been through too much. Even if I'm reading it wrong and they really were voting for it, I'd still like to think they weren't. It makes me feel better."

I was nervous there for a second.
But I always kind of did like Katniss. Not as much as Prim or Peeta, but I still kind of liked her.
Random thought: Peeta's name makes me think of pita bread. Which suits him seeing as how he is a baker.
Wow, Peeta's on a whole new level now.

...and I'm pretty sure that was done on purpose.

For sure.
Peeta....Pita Bread. I totally get it! I never made the connection but u are so right way.

It really was. I loved Prim. It was cruel. And I just think to many people died in the end.
And I just really hated how Katniss changed. What happened to the "do-it-for-you-sister" attitude? She was so lame in Mockingjay....just saying.
