Naomi (purplebookdragon) | 900 comments yeah, me neither hannah
he was way cooler in 1 and 2. and peeta just annoyed me throughout the entire series. especially in the 3rd

Hannah | 3223 comments Mod
I kinda liked him at the end of 3 but still.....

message 53: by Siareen (new)

Siareen | 1620 comments lol. Gale was ten times cooler. it was nice to see the difference between both boys though- Peeta being the nice, gentle one, and Gale all passionate and angry. more simular to Katniss in that way i guess... opposites attract!

message 54: by Naomi (new)

Naomi (purplebookdragon) | 900 comments nah, peeta just continuously annoyed me. he was always just sorta.... soft.

message 55: by Naomi (new)

Naomi (purplebookdragon) | 900 comments gale was way cooler. peeta was just lame.

message 56: by Siareen (new)

Siareen | 1620 comments yup. though i have a feeling that in person i would have liked him more. he took the time to think, something that Gale did much less.

Katniss was a complete idiot though. i hate books when girls try to balance two guys and dont come right out with who they really like.
its the same in twilight.

message 57: by Naomi (new)

Naomi (purplebookdragon) | 900 comments I know!!! ihate when there is the whole love triangle thing. it wrecks books so much. its so annoying!

message 58: by Siareen (new)

Siareen | 1620 comments sometimes it works. but only if there isnt one person who loves two people.
then its like
JUST PICK ONE ALREADY YOU STUPID PERSON!!!!!

message 59: by Naomi (new)

Naomi (purplebookdragon) | 900 comments I know!!! it gets on my nerves. it seems like every book has one. and the girls are just so annoying about it too.

message 60: by Siareen (new)

Siareen | 1620 comments yup.
the saddest part- most people DO enjoy that type of thing

message 61: by Naomi (new)

Naomi (purplebookdragon) | 900 comments I know!!!! its pathetic!! (no offense to those who enjoy it)

message 62: by Siareen (new)

Siareen | 1620 comments lol, ya, sorry if we are insulting anyone. everyone to their own.
this is just our opinion....

message 63: by Hannah, Don't TOUCH my Title Klymy. (new)

Hannah | 3223 comments Mod
I like some conflict...but there is always someone I favor more so I do tend to like one person instead of the triangle

message 64: by Siareen (new)

Siareen | 1620 comments sometimes conflict is good. it just depends how much the author drags it out. more then one book is a bit too much...

message 65: by Hannah, Don't TOUCH my Title Klymy. (new)

Exactly!

message 66: by Emily (new)

Emily ugh. twilight.

message 67: by Naomi (new)

Naomi (purplebookdragon) | 900 comments dont even SAY twilight. ugh!!!!!!

message 68: by Hannah, Don't TOUCH my Title Klymy. (new)

Hannah | 3223 comments Mod
I thought you liked Twilight Emily

message 69: by Emily (new)

Emily not anymore.
Oh and don't get me wrong-- I never loved it. But I did enjoy reading them. Until I realized Bella is super-super annoying and the whole story is dumb. :)

message 70: by Siareen (new)

Siareen | 1620 comments i second that. they were not bad books when you read them. they you start thinking about them... and then you try as hard as you can to forget them :D

message 71: by Emily (new)

Emily Ex-actly.

message 72: by Siareen (new)

Siareen | 1620 comments lol

I never said Love. LOL I'm prob never gonna read. Though I admit with the varying opinions sometimes I'm intrigued or want to figure out for myself. u know?

message 74: by Siareen (new)

Siareen | 1620 comments thats why i read it.

message 75: by Emily (new)

Emily My friend told me I had to read it. :)

message 78: by Katerina, Mother Gothel's Cake (new)

Katerina (klymene) | 2740 comments Mod
Two things:
A) Excuse my language and I'll delete it if I must, but Gale is a Doosh, or a douche, how ever people like it spelled.
Second B) I just read a new book Divergent and It's written much better. People are saying it's a Hunger Games wannabe, but, even if it was intended that way, it's much better than the Hunger Games series, at least so far

message 79: by Ingrid (new)

Ingrid I've finally read The Hunger Games.
Personally, I really like it. Gale annoyed me to no end, but I loved Peeta.

anilee (anileesghost) | 780 comments Mod
I just ordered Divergent, Klymene, and I'm excited to read it. (I thought The Hunger Games was good, but not worthy of all the hype.)

message 81: by Hannah, Don't TOUCH my Title Klymy. (new)

Hannah | 3223 comments Mod
Nice. I liked Hunger Games. I liked Gale. Peeta was okay....However the sequels are lame.

message 82: by Katerina, Mother Gothel's Cake (new)

Katerina (klymene) | 2740 comments Mod
It totally went down hill from the first book, at least in my opinion.
lol. My sister and I saw this person we know reading Hunger Games almost obsessively. Next thing you know, Dani and I are ranting about how amazing Divergent is and how Hunger Games just goes down from the first book.
Divergent's been out for about two months and they've already hired a film writer to adapt the book!!! EEP! I'm so excited

REally? I guess I should read it.... Haha

message 84: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 710 comments Mockingjay was SOOOOO disappointing.

message 85: by Emily (new)

Emily (lafillebrigitte) yes it was, it was terrible, it felt like we were right back where we started!

message 86: by Katerina, Mother Gothel's Cake (new)

Katerina (klymene) | 2740 comments Mod
And Prim died. She DIED!!!
I have every right to put that spoiler in. It says so in the topic heading thingy

message 87: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 710 comments YOu do, Klym. :) HOW COULD SHE!!!!! That was a cold hearted kill of Suzanne's, that was.

message 88: by Katerina, Mother Gothel's Cake (new)

Katerina (klymene) | 2740 comments Mod
And I think it was kinda pointless too.

message 89: by Naomi (new)

Naomi (purplebookdragon) | 900 comments i agree, it was pointless. cuz the entire things started in order to keep prim safe- the whole volunteering for the hunger games thing. it made the entire series all for nothing. it annoyed me. and her death was so sudden and random that i wasnt even sad. and i normally hate when people die and im super upset.

message 90: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 710 comments Extremely. I mean, really? the only point it served was to say that the world isn't fair, no matter who's in charge

message 91: by Katerina, Mother Gothel's Cake (new)

Katerina (klymene) | 2740 comments Mod
I think Finnick should rule. Just saying. With Annie at his side he'd be hot and kind and just.

message 92: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 710 comments Hahah, but didn't he die?

message 93: by Katerina, Mother Gothel's Cake (new)

Katerina (klymene) | 2740 comments Mod
Yeah. I should know that. But I got so bored in Mockingjay that I kinda skimmed for just the plot line.

message 94: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 710 comments Hahah, I read it all and then when I got to the end around where prim died (it was a saturday morning and i had just woken up for the day), I was literally shouting at the book and giving my younger sister unintentional spoilers.

message 95: by Katerina, Mother Gothel's Cake (new)

Katerina (klymene) | 2740 comments Mod
Spoilers. Gr. I don't mind it if it was an accident. Sometimes we're just way to excited over it. But when they keep telling you it. I coulda choked her.
Tiger's Curse was a good book. And I saw my friend reading Tiger's Quest. I think that's what it's called. Well, anyways it was the sequel. And I (naturally) freak out. The first thing she says, " *****(person who I don't want to name because it'll ruin the books) looses his/her memory!!!" I ignore her, 'cause I'm pissed she told me. And then she says it 2 more times before I snap and tell her I heard her and that I don't appreciate it. Thanks to her, the end of the book that would've been really emotional for me was emotionless.

message 96: by Rebekah Faith (new)

Rebekah Faith (musicalradiance) | 710 comments That's horrible!

message 97: by Emily (new)

Emily (lafillebrigitte) omgosh! tis awful!!

message 98: by Ingrid (new)

I was so sad and horrified that i couldn't even cry. I just trembled with all the emotions I can think of. Eventually I calmed down and then got REALLY ANGRY.
ARgh. Darn you Suzanne Collins.
But...
Keep writing. Your books are good.

message 99: by Siareen (new)

Siareen | 1620 comments good while you read them. not the moment you put them down and consider them

message 100: by Naomi (new)

Naomi (purplebookdragon) | 900 comments i totally agree siareen. the first was good, the second was interesting and the only reason that i finished the third was to know the ending.
