Great idea!I know no one has asked, but I was planning on reading it anyway, so I propose "The Social Animal" by David Brooks. NYT review link is attached.

I highly recommend "The Shock Doctrine" - it's essential in understanding what's going on around the world right now.
I'm currently reading: Whipping Girl: A Transsexual Woman on Sexism and the Scapegoating of FemininityOn my urgent list is: Borderlands/La Frontera: The New Mestiza, Pilgrimages/Peregrinajes: Theorizing Coalition Against Multiple Oppressions, Feminism Without Borders: Decolonizing Theory, Practicing Solidarity, and A People's History of the United States: 1492 to Present.
I'm really interested in The Shock Doctrine and in Rhiannon's family-related selections.
