Farrah I loved this book thoroughly. I tried reading another of his books and barely got through it. I enjoyed this style of writing that hits on the bizzarre, strangeness of philosophy with a little sci-fi mysticism thrown in for fun and vulgarity. Any recommendations?

Kathleen Which of his books did you try? I loved Towing Jehovah, Only Begotten Daughter, Blameless in Abaddon and The Last Witchfinder. Also love early Kurt Vonnegut, i.e., Cat's Cradle, Slaughterhouse Five and Breakfast of Champions. I really liked Arthur C. Clarke's 'Light of Other Days'...for a change of pace and amazing romp of historical fiction/sci-fi/subtle social commentary, have you tried the 'Outlander' series?
