Ken..EmmaSo funny.
Ken I have an overflowing bookshelf in my kitchen as well.
I was just thinking the other day, I need to go to IKEA and get a bigger one.
Whenever we see a dog with a cone my husband and I always say, "there goes another dog with a lampshade on its head!"
I love IKEA too, awesome store. Ken, I love the rain and wind too! A lot of people stare at me when I say so though... Haha Beth! That's too funny! How do the owners react?
Yes, I must have been drunk when I thought that putting that cone on his head was going to stop him from licking his incision. He has figured out a way to reach the spot. It is so funny!!
Ken that is too funny about the bedpan on the wall. Great use for magazines!
I feel like I missed a lot haven't really been on line for a few days. Wow feel like I've been gone forever.
Jeremy: I would love a house with wall to wall bookshelves. I think it's possible.

Yeah, you kind of feel out of loop when you haven't been on for a while. Don't worry, you'll jump right back in!
I know! The sad thing is that it was really only one day! But it feels like a week!
The rain has started here in North Carolina and looking at radar, it's probably going to last into tomorrow. I'm taking today off. The hubby and kids just left for work/school. It's so quiet. All I hear is the wind outside. I love days like this.Jersey looks like they are getting some heavy rain right now.
Stay dry!!
Welcome back Emilee. It stinks to miss a few days!
As far as the rain goes, I guess it almost upon us. I have a tee time tomorrow in Portland, ME with a friend of mine from Boston and my uncle. We are pretty certain of cancellation but holding on by a thread.

Yes, Ikea is great. We bought a bunch of stuff from there for my oldest son's campus apartment. He loves all the stuff he got and everyone who comes over to his place compliments him on how nice it looks. Emma re: dogs with cones, we try not to laugh in front of the owners but sometimes it's really hard. My husband says he hopes we never have to put one on our dog b/c he won't be able to stop laughing. I think I'd be peeing in my pants to see her in one, too. Maybe I could photoshop one on her picture, which is my avitar.
Random thought: I have an interview at Borders today. It's just a part time thing so I at least will be getting a paycheck while I am career searching. I'm hoping my love of books and 6 years working in guest services will be enough to get me in.
Thanks, Emma! I figured if I was going to apply somewhere for part-time work admist my job search, it might as well be a place I will enjoy going to!
Ha, Jessica! I've been keeping my eye on Borders job openings forever. I don't think I could even take on a part time job, but still.
Good reference about "the network".
I got the job at Borders! As an employee, I'm allowed to take two books home for two weeks and then bring them back. At least my whole paycheck won't be going toward books! And now that I am an employee, I have access to internal job postings. Borders is headquarted in Ann Arbor so maybe I can get an HR job there eventually. And Ken, I love that image of all of you guys behind me as my network.
Haha! That's GREAT Jessica! You seriously get to take them home for two weeks? Oooo, that's awesome!
Yeah, I was so excited when they told me that. And what do you think the first two books I'm going to take are? Dracula and House of Leaves of course!
And you don't have to spend a dime!!!!!! Fabulous! :D I think you got the best deal on those two out of all of us!
Yes, I'd say so! But seriously, if I can work for the corporate office eventually, life will be great.
Of course, I'll need my son to do this for me. He's coming home from school for the weekend. I'm going to see what he can do. I'll just pee myself if it works!
Ken: I've been busy running the kids all over! I at least got in some extra reading time but feel like I've been gone forever!
How is your family?
How is your family?
Thanks Jeremy. It's so good to be back!
Jessica: Good Luck! I would be scared to work at Borders. I would spend all my money!
What field are you looking at going into?
