Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments Aw Jeane, I really hope you feel better.

When is your boyfriend supposed to come back?

message 2102: by Jeane (new)

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments Midnight, early morning. Depends how fast he can come from the airport till here. First he needs to take a bus from the iarport to dublin centre, which can take from 30-50 minutes and then a bus here which takes half an hour but depends when he can take it.

message 2103: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments Ohh, I see, it might take a while.

Are the belly cramps getting better at all?

message 2104: by Jeane (new)

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments nope, monthly pain....would just let them pass but...I am alone, have an interview tomorrow which I am not convinced about, don't hear about the company where I want to work, need a job, it is cold and I am alone...... wanna be friday or saturday.

message 2105: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments Hey Fiona!

Haha, yeah. God, I need a shower.

That was a random thought.

Except I cannot leave because GR is sucking me into it's addictiveness.

message 2106: by Jeane (new)

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments random thought with a good motive????? my fantasy is starting again....

where have you all been today??? for once that I am on the computer the whole day, besides the time at the library (which wasn't a good idea according to my belly).....

message 2107: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments Ohhhhh, that would make sense.

I had mine last week.

Random thought: I'm craving dark chocolate right now, too bad I don't have any in the house.

message 2108: by Jeane (new)

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments me white chocolate......but I also don't feel like eating....

message 2109: by Jeane (new)

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments Fiona, we aren't always talking about the monthly thing, I remember it only once...and now it was jsut an in between mentioning...so guys should be here too. anyway, it doesn't always have to be a complete woman thing! Example: I whish my boyfriend would be home because he has bog, warm hands and i love that on my belly this moment!!!!!

feeling down down....

message 2110: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments The monthly thing is a worthy topic!!!

message 2111: by Jeane (new)

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments yes and it isn't only a woman subject! I am lucky that I don't bite more when I have it, or that I am not grumpy that period. When i am working, well I gather more energy and go working. when I am not working I just let all my energy go and do nothing if I don't have to. Sometimes I don't feel a thing and sometimes it is really bad. You would expect that an operation doesn't give you something bad...but while I didn't feel a thing before, now I feel too much! I am lucky that my boyfriend doesn't mind and understands how I am during that week, aslo my ex-boyfriend did very well and even asked me questions!

was going to brush my teeth when I saw tictac in my drawer.....sunday I bought a pack of four and felt like the guy in Juno.... still ahve to brush my teeth.

message 2112: by Jeane (new)

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments I bought one but it is in belgium...and he is only away till next morning....

tictac tictac...feel like eating more of them...

message 2113: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments Orange tic tacs, YUMMY.

message 2114: by Jeane (new)

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments it are th elime and orange tic tac I have. I also tried melon and other tastes in Belgum and Italy, big boxes too.....

nothing is of any use to me in Belgium....there are so many clothes there i could use...but it would cost more than buying it new to send over and I lost weight so maybe it would be too big....but for isnide I owuldn't mind. Would love to have my long, thick black coat here....

message 2115: by Jeane (new)

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments gonna eat some more tic tac, get my pjamas, brush my teeth, come back, leave, read a bit, sleep or trying because much sleep won't be for tonight probably...

message 2116: by Jeane (new)

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments I am kind a eating boxes. I try to slow down but many times i can eat a box like in fifteen minutes.

message 2117: by Emma (new)

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments I love tic tacs....mmmm.

message 2118: by Jeane (new)

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments I use to in the past Fiona, but now the face of my boyfriend when he notices makes me go to fifteen minutes:-)))))

message 2119: by Jeane (new)

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments I already went to throw away my white chocolate papers in the general bin downstairs:-)

message 2120: by Jeane (new)

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments it was part of my emotional buying yesterday:-) but only 3 mini single bars of nestle white chocolate.

my hair is too wild after the shower this morning...

message 2121: by [deleted user] (new)

Okay the Cimex is gross looking!

message 2122: by [deleted user] (new)

Thanks Laura! I am thankful to have a job. I know most people actually don't enjoy their jobs so I am just part of the status quo.

message 2123: by [deleted user] (new)

Emma we have missed you. Glad your back!

message 2124: by [deleted user] (new)

Jeane, Ann & Emma I hope all three of you feel better!

message 2125: by [deleted user] (new)

I love the orange tic tacs. I need to go to the store.

message 2126: by [deleted user] (new)

I have one of the teddy's you warm in the microwave & love it. I also have this electric blanket. Oh yeah! That's the best in the world. Jeane that's what you need.

message 2127: by [deleted user] (new)

message 2128: by [deleted user] (new)

message 2129: by [deleted user] (new)

Wow that was fast! See ya in a bit Fiona!

message 2130: by [deleted user] (new)

Man I think our gold fish died. We can't find it in the tank. My son is going to be very sad.

message 2131: by [deleted user] (new)

I think it might have died. We've had it for six years. I have a cover on the tank so the cats don't get to it but I do think it is in heaven.

The last fish that died in the summer we had a fish funeral for. My son was so upset. He wanted to bury it and say some words. I was getting the fish out of the tank. He came in and said he dug a hole. We carried Bubba (the fish) outside and he dug a whole a 2 feet by about 1 foot and about 3 feet deep in the middle of the lawn. The funeral went well.

I better go look for the fish. It's not floating. I hope it's not stuck in the boat.

message 2132: by Laura (new)

Laura (apenandzen) Good luck Emilee!

Moisturize Fiona!

Hope you're feeling better soon Jeane. The only thing worse than a period is going through all the hormonal CRAP from pre-menopause! I took it all for granted for years, and boy when they go out of whack it screws you up, so be glad if you're getting a normal pd. every month. (well not glad, it still sucks, but sucking less is what I'm getting at.)

:)

Glad you're back Emma!

Petra, love your Barbie today!!

message 2133: by [deleted user] (new)

I here teh premenopause isn't much fun. something to look forward too!

message 2134: by Laura (new)

Laura (apenandzen) I have 2 words, no 3: bio-identical progesterone cream. It is the BEST. And a really good GYN who knows what the H they are doing to help bring your hormones back in balance.

message 2135: by Laura (new)

Laura (apenandzen) That just accelerates the process, making it even worse. (Hyst.)

Yes the only thing worse than discussing a pd. is discussing not having one. Or them being all messed up. YUK

message 2136: by [deleted user] (new)

several of my female relatives had to get hysterectomies it is a huge shock on the body. I hope I can go through all the changes!

message 2137: by [deleted user] (new)

You never know the way technology & medicine is progressing it could be possible.

message 2138: by Ann from S.C. (new)

Ann from S.C. | 1395 comments I had a hysterectomy 3 years ago and it was the best thing I have ever done!!!! I had endrometrosis and it was hell! Now I take a small hormone pill and no horrible period!!!

message 2139: by [deleted user] (new)

Good night Fiona.

Ann: I have heard horrible things about endrometrosis. I hope you didn't have it as bad as I've heard it can be with all teh horrible side effects. Sometimes it is just so hard being a woman!

message 2140: by Petra X (new)

Petra X (petra-x) The easy way not to have periods without having a hysterectomy

get pregnant
breast feed
get pregnant again
breast feed
get..... you get the idea.

My late father-in-law had 7 children (the eldest is 92 I believe) then his wife died. The second wife died in childbirth. The third wife (my late much beloved mother-in-law) had ten children, the youngest, my soon2Bx is late 40s. She had a baby every 2 years or a little less and hardly had periods.

Not quite the modern way though.

Emma Blue (litlover) | 2389 comments Ahem.

message 2144: by [deleted user] (new)

Sorry about your Uncle Fiona!

I don't think I would like that method of less periods. I personally love my seasonal 4 a year. I can survive that much better. I love kids but I don't know that a body could take pregancy after pregancy!

message 2145: by Laura (new)

Laura (apenandzen) My mom would have had 15, but she had 5 miscarriages - one of the misses was twins. I'm the youngest. Can you say Catholic?

:)

message 2146: by Petra X (new)

Petra X (petra-x) Fiona - I suppose you could give them away or sell them if you didn't want them all!

My late MIL gave away her eldest daughter (the 8th child of my FIL) to my FIL's sister as she had only two children and couldn't have any more. That was one less to raise!

message 2147: by Melody (new)

I think you would be a great writer....

message 2150: by Jessica (new)

Jessica | 1000 comments That's great news about your uncle, Fiona!

The weather is awful here today. I just want to lay around and do nothing (or read of course) but I have to go get my hair done at 3:30.
