Kellie (acountkel) | 992 comments Happy Birthday Jessica!!

message 1728: by Jeane (new)

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments iona when I installed University I really liked it but in the end played that one less. It is fun choosing a dog, leaning him tricks and so...they can even get a job!

message 1729: by Petra X (new)

Petra X (petra-x) Say things like enthusiasm, organisational skills (if you have any), ability to get on well with all sorts of people without ever getting flustered (that's a good one for an employer to hear if you have to deal with the public). You can say the ability to be nit-picky about details, to make sure things are right.

message 1730: by Petra X (new)

Petra X (petra-x) I just said things I would like an potential employee to tell me. A good one (for me) would be, "I know all de melee dem". You can't say that though. What it means is I know all the gossip and I'm prepared to share it. On a small island that gets you points!

message 1731: by Kellie (new)

Kellie (acountkel) | 992 comments Ha Ha Petra! LOL.
Is tomorrow another interview Fiona?

message 1732: by Ann from S.C. (new)

Ann from S.C. | 1395 comments HAPPY BIRTHDAY JESSICA!!!! The S'more martini I know had baileys in it and marshmellows, and the rim of the glass was dipped in chochlate and graham crackers.

message 1733: by Ann from S.C. (new)

Ann from S.C. | 1395 comments I just drank some EARL GRAY DECAFENATED tea. Yummy..

message 1734: by Petra X (new)

Petra X (petra-x) I used to love Earl Grey but I think I drank so much of it I can't stand it now. That is always happening to me with food - eat too much of one thing and then I go off it.

message 1735: by Petra X (new)

Petra X (petra-x) It never happens with fattening food though :-(

message 1736: by Jeane (new)

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments The tea i bought is Barry's tea.....it got better but won't buy it again.
Fiona, I always say things like being a hard worker, fast learner, enthousiastic, like working with many people, love to try to give to every customer a very good customer service so that they will leave with a positive thought about the place .....

Anyway, hope you won't need it again soon and get the job!

message 1737: by Jeane (new)

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments Fiona, are you getting used to tea without sugar already?

Did they tell you already if you get the job or not? I want an interview too!!!!!! I need a job!!!!!

message 1738: by Jeane (new)

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments Good fiona! try to go to one sugar next week!!!!! How is the toothache?

message 1739: by Jeane (new)

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments Fiona, jst try to go to one next week, it works easier like that because you are geting to on and a half, than one...

I want to eat a fresh piece of carote cake but don't want to spent money or too much money on spoiling things till I have a job

message 1740: by Jeane (new)

Jeane (icegini) | 4891 comments Fiona I loved the meal deals at Boots!!! But didn't see them inside the boots here..and 3 pound into euro would be....wondering

message 1741: by [deleted user] (new)

message 1742: by [deleted user] (new)

thanks everyone for the well wishes. Glad to be back. Had lots of fun with Dad! Too bad he had to go back. Wish Mom could have come too!

Waiting for the turkey to cook! Smells good.

message 1743: by [deleted user] (new)

message 1744: by Laura (new)

Laura (apenandzen) Hi Fiona and Emilee! The trio is back!

:)

Happy Thanksgiving Emilee and Happy Interviewing, Fiona. How did it go?

message 1745: by [deleted user] (new)

Sorry about the tooth. for such little things they sure cause a lot of pain!

How did the job interviews go? I hope you get one! Keeping my fingers crossed for you!

message 1746: by Laura (new)

Laura (apenandzen) Is everyone gone?

How are you Emilee, glad you had a good time w/your dad.

message 1747: by [deleted user] (new)

I'm good Laura! How are you!

I had a lot of fun with my dad. Wasn't long enough but it never is.

Are you making Turkey today????

I hate job interviews. I'll keep my fingers crossed for another one for you!

message 1748: by Laura (new)

Laura (apenandzen) Good luck Fiona. For the questions, try and think of what you'd want from an employee if you had a business. You'd want them to be enthusiastic about the kind of work you do, you'd want them to have a customer-service focus, you'd want them to really care about the quality of work they produce, and not need lots of supervision.

Yes, Emilee, the turkey is roasting as we speak! I love the smells! I'd like to make an apple pie too, not sure if I'll get around to that or not, but...either way, it's nice to have everyone around for Thanksgiving.

message 1749: by [deleted user] (new)

Turkey's are ugly but they taste good! My turkey is 13.5 pounds. Sorry don't know how to change that to kg. I need to work on that!

message 1750: by Laura (new)

Laura (apenandzen) Maybe you should have a duck eye, Fiona! That one was really cute. Aw....
