As I was typing this reply, our local weather came on and the weather guy showed a picture that someone snapped here today: a double rainbow.

Did you go out and chase the rainbow, Patricia?
Kench, Dakota, I have seen those types aplenty on our freeways.

Ever walked a labyrinth? Ever wanted to? Know what a labyrinth is? What it is not?
I posted a new blog at Boomers & Books, titled 'Walking the Labyrinth', which answers those burning questions. Check it out: http://bit.ly/OVYwRE

Okay, okay. I've just been interviewed on someone else's blog:
Joo's Book Reviews and Interviews

And I posted to my blog recently:

I thought I mentioned it, but I must have lent my memory to Kat that day....

Good memories, those. Kathleen's blog is colourful calming place to be, and one of the great things about it is that it isn't dumbed down.

Yeah, I wanna be Kathleen when I grow up, she is a great writer and is everywhere.

Now that's a worthy ambition.
I read a few pages of a piece by Kathleen Valentine in my bath a couple of nights ago, about a singer, and I can picture the heft of her, the sensuality even when she isn't singing. It is earthy stuff without ever descending to crudeness. There is also more sex on the two or three of Kathleen's pages I had time to read than in all the books of any dozen of the pornographers who surround us, and that's with two fully clothed characters onstage. Kathleen's is a special talent, an eye, an ear, a sensibility one is born with, or not.

I have a couple more downloaded to my Kindle which I know I will enjoy, but there are a few indie authors I want to read first...
Here's the tweet about it:
We're talking about Kathleen #Valentine BEHIND HER BACK. Heh-heh! http://bit.ly/RUKz4D from msg 207 down. .@Kathleen01930

Meeting my samizdat readers. Here's URL and the tweet:
Samizdat: people who risked everything to read http://nblo.gs/BOYGT @thrillsjute
And Margie's tweet in response, which says it all:
Margie Myers-Culver @Loveofxena
@thrillsjute Thank you for sharing what so many take for granted; truly a testament to the power of books, of wanting to know. You met them.

Yeah, I was thinking about that as I was writing about her. Hope she will forgive us, but fortunately it was all good...
Good tweet!!

Oh oh! Polish up the tiara and wash the white gloves, whoever has them, I suspect someone is going to want to borrow them...

I married my husband for his money. I've been very happy with his money.

Kench!

Well, that's something I can relate to, I dont' get paid either.

I am a member of Boomers and Books author group blog and since the concepts would likely be considered by most as 'out there', I ran the vids by them to see if they thought it would be appropriate to post on our 'news' and Facebook pages. Not only did they think it a good idea, they suggested I blog about the experience. So I did. And here it is, complete with embedded videos:

Blog entries since I took y'll to lunch:

One of the best-written thrillers I will read this year. Andre Jute is a writer I trust to give me a good book every time. — Matt Posner on Amazon

Your bicycle reminds me of most golfers' bags - every toy imaginable, all of which are useful and pretty and satisfying, but in the end it is the skill of the athlete that determines the pleasure of the 'ride'.
Yes, I have these watches for the art. There are at least two other devices on my bike to tell time, and at my desk I'm surrounded by devices that tell time. When I wear a watch it is generally a tool watch, a pilot's timepiece with a slide rule around the bezel to do engineering calculations if I'm unavoidably detained in boring situation or with dull people, world time, and enough stopwatches and countdown timers to measure interval exercises, like this one: http://coolmainpress.com/andrejutewat...

New entry on my blog:
So what good are parking lots?
Amazing, two in a row of cycling interest... In theory the blog is the record of a writer's procrastinations in rewriting a book that has already gone through umpteen editions. Cycling is GOOD procrastination!

A fabulous way for your readers to get to know the person behind the writing, which I read just recently is a mark of the most successful blogs.
Congratulations on your figure of eight - and figuring out how good it is for you...
Don't tell me, dear Sharon, you're a physio and know how I can be as slim as you. Oh, my day is made!

Ha! Readers of my blog are more likely to be terribly confused: it is all over the place, an insight into the mind of a magpie. (I suspect the minds of most artists are like that.) Seems to me far more likely that a focused blog would have a greater commercial impact, but I can't be bothered.

Gearing up for the Greatest Race on Earth

The address is in the blog article but I'll post it again, and here as well. First I have to decide who I'll root for.

Lately I seem to have the attention span of a gnat...
I have people who remember things for me. For instance, my wife and close friends tell me the names of people approaching.

Wherein one will find Kurt Russell and Richard Branson mentioned in the same breath:

For extreme sportsmen, can your phone be as impact-proof as a tank, and be smart at the same time? I think that's a minimum for a quality case.

We don't have topic police, in fact no police at all. But this is the best place to put a notice when there's something new on your blog.
