Tagging Books at Amazon

Hi all! I had been tagging earlier, and went back and tagged those listed here: Shannon, Mark, David, Kin, Paul, Stacy, Charity, and Tina. Derek, I got you and others earlier, so it wouldn't let me tag twice. Tina, I could only "like" yours because you don't have tags yet, so you might want to add those. If you all could tag me back when you get a chance that would be great. My books are:

David - I've liked and tagged you. I guess I missed before. My link is at the top of the prior page.
I'll go through and try to hit as many of the other links as I can. Here is my link, http://www.amazon.com/In-Memory-of-Da....
Maranda, you have been liked and tagged!I try to stay on top of this list so I should have everyone and I will check back with y'all later :)
Shoot, I thought I had tags? When I check now I see a bunch - but maybe it was just a timing thing. I dunno.Btw, I am halfway through this thread. Phew! I may have carpal tunnel after this... :-)
Maranda wrote: "I'll go through and try to hit as many of the other links as I can. Here is my link, http://www.amazon.com/In-Memory-of-Da...."got you tagged, Maranda. ; )

For example, if th..."I'm not sure why you would be looking at Author Central for concrete sales data. What you need to do is log-in at Kindle Direct Publishing--where you went to set up your book on Amazon in the first place--and click on Reports. All your reports are itemized right there, organized by month and updated in what's close to real-time
Stephen, thanks for that information. What about paperbacks, though? The vast majority of my sales have been in paperback format.
Mark wrote: "Stephen, thanks for that information. What about paperbacks, though? The vast majority of my sales have been in paperback format."Ah, then, you're an unusually happy case :) Unfortunately I have no experience with Createspace, but I would guess that they, being an imprint of Amazon like KDP, might have a similar dashboard.
I love CreateSpace for paperbacks and have 5 titles with them. http://www.amazon.com/Jason-Matthews/...

Thanks for your help, Stephen. Much appreciated. I've downloaded my Kindle sales reports in xls format from my KDP page on amazon. There's no such facility for paperback sales, though. I didn't use Createspace for the paperback; I published it with lulu, who made it available on their site and amazon UK/US. The sales figures for paperbacks sold via lulu are easily accessible via my dashboard on their site, but not so for paperbacks sold on amazon. I'll take it up with Author Central, as my only way of gauging paperback sales at the moment is dividing royalties paid by royalty per book, and that's only possible once a month. There has to be a better way!
Jason wrote: "I love CreateSpace for paperbacks and have 5 titles with them. http://www.amazon.com/Jason-Matthews/..."I went back and checked. I had missed some of your books, so you have now been liked and tagged on all of your books, paperback and kindle versions
Just published my new children's story on Amazon. Would love any tagging and likes! Will go through and get some more of you done while I'm here :) http://www.amazon.com/Weezie-Elephant...
Hi guys, where should I go to find the rules and/or instructions for this thread? I'm not exactly a GR power-user so I need plain and simple advice ;-) Do you reply to the posts of the people you like and tag, telling them you've done so, and then they reciprocate?
There are no real rules, Charlotte. You'll probably find the most active people on this thread by going backwards. The concept is generally to tags others, make a list and let them know, then receive tags yourself. I wouldn't expect everyone to still be following the thread, but many are and it will help.

Just post a link to your books so that everyone else can like you, and then start liking everyone else that has posted. :) Good luck!
Charity

I'm starting "here" and working my way back. The link to my YA paranormal romance on Amazon is here...http://www.amazon.com/Enchantment-ebo...
Got it liked and tagged, Charlotte. Yes, you'll run into plenty of links for me. I don't like reposting them all the time.

Dang it, that's supposed to be free! Although I'm ready for a new read so can I return the favor of purchasing your book?
Jason wrote: "Dang it, that's supposed to be free! Although I'm ready for a new read so can I return the favor of purchasing your book?" LOL, of course! It's a YA paranormal romance, but some of the best reviews have come from adult men ;-)
