I've a backlog of books to review for Amazon Vine, so it'll be a couple of weeks before I can get stuck into your book and David's. Looking forward to them, though. Derek, it looks like the link is only active for the upper half of the image for some reason. It looks like my book might be the only one effected by the glitch. I'll send an email to see if anything can be done. Thanks for the heads up. When I had checked it before I moused over the upper half only, thus not noticing the flaw.

Tagged and liked, Tina. I haven't heard anything about amazon's system changing. I wish amazon would display each book's all-time sales rank rather than the 'bestseller ranking' currently shown. It'd be much more useful to authors.

As far as I know, Tina, the only sales-related data available to authors on amazon is the graph in Author Central. This graph doesn't give specific enough detail for my liking. For example, if there's a sales spike, the graph doesn't show whether the spike relates to 1 sale or 10, or 100; it only shows dates and 'bestseller ranking' peaks. On lulu, I can view exactly how many books I've sold, the dates on which they were sold, royalty payments paid/coming, and royalty amounts. Also, lulu uses an all-time sales rank rather than the 'how many you've sold that day' format used by amazon. With any luck, amazon will make more detailed information available to authors in the future.

As for getting rich in a hurry, the easiest way's to rob banks. Just don't get caught. :-P
