I couldn't believe that Jack died! Also I felt like the ending of the book was rushed and yeah...

He had to have someone die, and it can't be Sabina's dad because he's been almost killed too many times, killing Sabina would be dumb too and also the same reason as her dad, really the only person left is Jack. I was totally devastated when she died, but that was the reason they did it, to test Alex for the emotional pain research. and to make the audience feel part of what he felt, totally unexpected.
