Ya but it might take me awhile, I'm very slow and also I'm supposed to do my homework now...hahaha I have to write my own obituary! Talk about WB I don't want to write an obituary about ME!!!!!

message 55: by Seth (new)

Seth (ninjaaaaaofwritingbooks) lol I have math still

message 56: by Lela (new)

Lela | 101 comments Mod
What math are you taking???

message 57: by Seth (new)

Seth (ninjaaaaaofwritingbooks) Pre Al

message 58: by Lela (new)

Lela | 101 comments Mod
Oh yeah? I've heard it's hard. I skipped it and took Algebra because I'm good at math (but I don't really like it) and then all my friends were like, "Oh, you're good at math can you help me?" and I would just stare at their math for a second feeling puzzled then say, "Um...nope, sorry!"

message 59: by Seth (new)

Seth (ninjaaaaaofwritingbooks) lol XD

message 60: by Laina (new)

Laina (laineyru) lol... i'm supposed to be doing math too *cringes* 30 story problems... 30! I'm okay with math until we hit the story problems...

message 61: by Seth (new)

Seth (ninjaaaaaofwritingbooks) Sad! I gtg bye. ttyl

message 62: by Lela (new)

Lela | 101 comments Mod
Wow! 30? That's a pain in the neck! I'm usually fairly good at story problems but they drive me crazy! what math are you in? Pre Alg?

message 63: by Laina (new)

Laina (laineyru) nope Algebra II

message 64: by Laina (new)

Laina (laineyru) and I hate them.... *shudders*

message 65: by Lela (new)

Lela | 101 comments Mod
I would be in Algebra 2 also but I'm redoing Geometry (even though I got A's) just cause I don't wanna have to do Pre Calc.

message 66: by Laina (new)

Laina (laineyru) haha I want to get all the math i can done... then I have to take less in college. My sister never has to take another math class in her life and her whole senior year was math-free. That would be the life...

message 67: by Lela (new)

Lela | 101 comments Mod
Oh yeah!

message 68: by Laina (new)

Laina (laineyru) haha... but unfortunately i won't be so lucky because i'm pretty sure that what i major in will involve more math than dance. : ) sadly...

message 69: by Lela (new)

Lela | 101 comments Mod
You should come to my school! Then you can actually kinda major in dance in highschool and get help to get a scholarship for dancing! Do you live in Utah?

message 70: by Laina (new)

Laina (laineyru) i live in idahoan utah... meaning like 20 miles out away from the boarder. lucky!!! that's pretty cool... utah has amazing dance technique programs, though.

message 71: by Brigid ✩ (new)

Brigid ✩ i take dance for gym class at my school... taking musical theater dancing right now!! it's awesome. ;D

message 72: by [deleted user] (new)

I've had writers block my whole life, I'll get the ideas and all. But never a full idea that's actually finished.

message 73: by Brigid ✩ (new)

Brigid ✩ yeah i've only finished writing two books. after making like fifty attempts. lol. :D

message 74: by [deleted user] (new)

Wow. You're lucky you even finished a full book! I'm sooooo stuck it's ridiculously sad.

message 75: by Veronica (new)

Veronica (v_a_b) I can't seem to write anything that is long enough. If I kept going on Roses for June, it would end up being about 30 pages.

But I'm not going to keep at it, at least not for a while. It completely sucks. You may disagree, on the suckiness, but you must admit to the lack of characterization, which in turn makes it suck... But In the future I might do a rewrite, with characterization!

message 76: by Seth (new)

Seth (ninjaaaaaofwritingbooks) I would read!

Kataury, what's your problem at the moment??? Need advice?

message 78: by Brigid ✩ (new)

Brigid ✩ hmmm i got an idea for a short story today...

message 79: by Seth (new)

Seth (ninjaaaaaofwritingbooks) care to tell?

message 80: by Brigid ✩ (new)

Brigid ✩ i was thinking... okay well it's not all exactly worked out yet. but basically there's this girl who lived like thousands of years ago. and she has this friend or sister or something who's psychic and starts having visions of a really far-off future where nature is completely gone... so the girl volunteers to, like, sleep for a million years or something, and then wake up again when nature is completely gone, and then she has to try and restore nature again... uh. idk if that made any sense. it made more sense in my head.

message 81: by [deleted user] (new)

Short story? That sounds like the longest story ever!!!

message 82: by Brigid ✩ (new)

Brigid ✩ it depends...

message 83: by Veronica (new)

Veronica (v_a_b) Hmm, well, wouldn't it be better to protect nature when there is only a little bit left rather than all gone? And from the little nature there is, she can restore it. but she couldn't bring it back when there was nothing to go on.

message 84: by Seth (new)

Seth (ninjaaaaaofwritingbooks) I think that sounds... interesting Brigid... I do think it would be better longer.

Xerxes Break(Vivian Ephona) (ephona) Help here? On my new story, should I just get to the action or do a bit of explaining first?

message 86: by Lela (new)

Lela | 101 comments Mod
Hmmm...please explain.

message 87: by Laina (new)

Laina (laineyru) wow Brigid... i am envious. Do you know how many sleepless nights I've tried brain-storming short story ideas? And here you just BAM have one come to you? I love it! I do think it would make an amazing short story... speaking of which... has anyone read The Lady or the Tiger by Frank Stockton?

message 88: by Brigid ✩ (new)

Brigid ✩ yeah i know... ideas don't usually come to me like that. actually what happened was that i was working at the library shelving nonfiction books, and i saw the spine of this book and the title was "the rebirth of nature" and i was like, 'STORY IDEA!!' two seconds later. XD lucky me!!
now i just have to stop procrastinating and actually WRITE it. lol.
and no i haven't read either of those. what are they about?

message 89: by Laina (new)

Laina (laineyru) oh haha... it's actually one story.. a short story. Look it up if you want (it is all over the internet for a very obvious reason once you read it) but I warn you, you're life will never be simple again. Amazing... but FRUSTRATING!

message 90: by Michelle (new)

Michelle (michellerobins) wow, ill remember that.

message 91: by Call me Random (new)

message 93: by Seth (new)

Seth (ninjaaaaaofwritingbooks) I hate that feeling!

message 94: by Lela (new)

Lela | 101 comments Mod
okay so, cute pig person (no offense) from the description it looks like you have a story idea so maybe if you try a different way to open the story that doesn't get you stuck or write a part of the story you already have got.

message 95: by [deleted user] (new)

Seth, i'm honestly stuck on that one story, i don't know what to do!!!!!

message 96: by Seth (new)

Seth (ninjaaaaaofwritingbooks) neither do i!

message 97: by [deleted user] (new)

gah, what do we do?

message 98: by Seth (new)

Seth (ninjaaaaaofwritingbooks) I dunno! Ask ppl in this group!

message 99: by Laina (new)

Laina (laineyru) NINJAS!!! It works every time... actually that is a lie. hehe... still... they make everything all better!
