I am now reading A Simple Plan.

Good for you. You met your goal. I am hoping to read about 15 books next year since I know I am a slow reader.

Now I started Wizard and Glass.

I hated The Gunslinger. I read it over 20 years ago and never continued the series because of my hatred for it. I reread it a couple of months ago and still did not like it but everyone told me that it really picks up with the second book. I agree and have been continuing the series ever since. I don't think that the series was King's best work, as some people think, but it is a good story once you get by the first book.
By the way, I thought Lamb: The Gospel According to Biff, Christ's Childhood Pal was one of the funniest books I've ever read.

I loved The Dark Tower Series, and I thought that it was some of his best work. Not THE best, but some of the best. I want to reread this series, I just have so much else to get through.

To be completely honest, I can't actually remember if I did read the epilogue. It was a few years back when I read the series, and that's one of the reasons that I want to reread them!

Choose your own adventure :)

I loved it. I couldn't put it down. I finished an 800 page book in 5 days, I think that says something about it haha
I don't know, I just fell in love with Jamie and Claire and their relationship. There were a few raunchy scenes, but I'm not easily offended and it didn't bother me. I'll definitely be reading the rest of the series.

I am now reading The Ice Queen and was totally hooked within the first paragraph. I love it so far.

Read and enjoyed Alan Heatcock's collection of short stories in Volt: Stories. This one releases in March.... If you would like to see my review - here it is: http://thenextbestbookblog.blogspot.c...
Moved on to Subversia - the author of Banned For Life, which I raved about oh so many months ago. This is a collection of his non-fiction previously published short stories. So far, they are very short and very interesting.
I always wonder what authors think when their life stories are laid out for public scrutiny - that's gotta be so hard to deal with.... When strangers meet them, they already their deepest darkest secrets...

anyway, i finished The Wife's Tale from Lori Lansens today. i started it right after Christmas but didn't get a lot of time to devote to it right away. a nice story, and a good way to kick off 2011!

Still trudging through Unweaving the Rainbow.

I was trying to remember who wrote A Clockwork Orange the other day, because it was on the tip of my tongue, so I asked my father and he gave me a strange look and asked why I would want to read that baha.
That's on my TBR list this year. I hope you enjoy it!

I read A Clockwork Orange this last summer and really enjoyed it. The language was difficult for me at first, but it was so worth it. How are you liking it?
