Dallas is the home to corn dogs, which were introduced by Fletchers at the State Fair. Anyone who grew up in Dallas has memories of attending the State Fair as a kid and chomping down on some Fletcher's corn dogs with mustard.

That's neat. I never thought of reading Steinbeck to the younger ones. I think his writing is so good that I can barely say his language is great because I hardly notice. I get so enthralled with what he is saying and I feel that he understand human nature precisely.

Donna, I like it quite a bit, but I am a lover of Sam Adams Boston Lager. I so wish that took a train, but the only train near me is a freight train that lays on the horn at 4:30 in the morning...every morning. But hey, I knew where the tracks were when I bought the house. I just didn't know they would blow the horn 15 times in a row. Scare the deer off my ass.
Molson XXX?
Have you read The Long Valley? I think it is the best collection of short stories I have ever read.

As for the train...It Sux during rush hour It's like getting molested by 100 different people
Great name and congrats! You are talking about the great musician I assume?
I wouldn't want to get molested by one person never mind 100. I used to take the T during rush hour, though and I remember the feeling.

Just making sure. There is a great comedian from Maine name Bob Marley! If he came on while my 5 year old was in the truck, she would say, "That's a boy song. I want to hear a girl song."
I too start bouncing whenever Exodus comes on.

BTW I have the Bob marley lullaby CD it is Great!!
I didn't have Bob Marley in my life til I was a freshman in college. I heard LEGEND at a party and went out the next day and bought it.
I'm not a big proponent of greatest hits albums, but LEGEND is phenomenal.
Good thing he's not a huge Frank Zappa fan!
All I can say...is that I like both of those bands.

Lots and lots of '90s alternative rock which was quite an umbrella. Much more mellow since then. Within the course of an hour I can be heard listening to Breakin' Benjamin, Pearl Jam, Matchbox Twenty, Bare Naked Ladies, Montgomery Gentry, Collective Soul, Counting Crows, Three Days Grace, Billy Joel, Elton John......
