What are you reading?

HAving a hard time really (caring :/) getting into it I mean but I have a no book left behind policy so I'll stick it out to the end
Ana, you are stronger than I! I tryed to read that dang novel twice and couldnt get more than 40-some odd pages in .... I still own it, so maybe, just maybe, someday...

Another Wilkie Collins book that I enjoyed is The Moonstone.

I also read Hot Zone at least 10 years ago and really liked it. It was hard to put down.

I'll have to check that one out, Alex (The Wild Trees). I'm still reading The 19th Wife and really liking it alot.

LOL CAROL
Bhumi - Oh I will I'll come back and complain or encourage you all to read or re-read it
Thanks Liz I'm going to give it my full attention today. I'm sure it won't be my favorite book but I have to give it a chance.

Linda, I love her books. I've read most of them. Some of her books are part of a series about a group of female lawyers.

Unfortunately, due to uni commitments, I find I can't let myself get too engrossed in books for pleasure, else I wouldn't get any work done whatsoever! As such, I'm currently reading a book of short stories, The Interpreter of Maladies by Jhumpa Lahiri.

I'm about at the halfway mark in Doctor Zhivago and I just started reading Fanny Hill, or Memoirs of a Woman of Pleasure.

I have not read this thread in a while and some people were talking about Jodi Picoult book's last week. I have read Nineteen Minutes, The Pact: A Love Story and My Sister's Keeper. I needed to take a break from those heavy topics and I read Talk of the Town. It was a kindle freebie about a month ago and it was a pleasant change. I have several other Picoult books already downloaded and ready to read.

I wouldn't mind rereading the historian myself. I liked the book a lot!

Pop Goes the Weasel (Alex Cross, Book 5) by James Patterson Pop Goes the Weasel (Alex Cross, Book 5)

I just finished "Postcards From a Dead Girl" and liked it alot.
Now starting "Shutter Island" !!!!!

Shary: Can't believe I have gone this long and not read something by her before. Well that error has ended. Thanks for the information.

I just ordered the sequel from amazon, should be here today or tomorrow - I'm so excited!

Love that title! I'm gonna take a look - thanks.
On edit, th..."
T.C. I really did enjoy every minute reading this book.
That's good to know Brenda - still not available in the Kindle Store, but it's on my list!

Hi Brenda - I noticed you were asking about The 19th Wife. I'm reading it and loving it. Its very good. It switches between modern day and the early days of the Morman church.

Very enjoyable novel 22 though its hard to follow at times in your head, with its surreal and anarchic humour, though I suppose thats the point of it.
