What are you reading?

I've started "This Charming Man" by Marian Keyes and LOVE IT.
Jessica, I am so happy to hear that you enjoyed it! Are you planning on reading more by him? I would suggest The Cave or Death With Interruptions.......

"I am reading the Life of Pi, The Secret Diaries of Miss Miranda Cheever by Julia Quinn, and Dragonfly in Amber.

Now, I'm reading The Secret History by Donna Tartt. I've heard great things about it, so I hope I end up liking it.

I didn't realize it was the last one. Do you know why it ended?

did you like it?

don't you just laugh out loud? Let me ask you--Morelli or Ranger?"
MORELLI!!!!!!!!!!!!

I love Stephanie Plum!

Hayes, Brief Wondrous Life is one of my favorite books of all time.

I just discovered that "Revenges of the Spellmans" was released on 3-10-09. I can't believe I missed the release date. I've ordered it and anxiously await its' arrival!
I'm glad you thought it was good.
I loved "The Spellman Files" so much that I went to the bookstore and bought it, after I read a library copy, to ensure Lutz would be able to publish another book. It worked!

I didn't know that, thanks for the info!

I think she said it was because she was just done with these characters. She was going to quit after 3 and decided she had one more in her. It's been 4 years since she's written anything, so I don't know, there is nothing new on her website.

I'm glad to see someone else liked it Jeane. : )

It was very dark and weird but I realized that it was all caused from mental illness. It's not a beautiful, or even a good story, but it does make you think. I actually felt sorry for the characters.

Traci! Movie is not good as book. lol but I like it that way. I'm now reading Eclipse.
Welcome Twilight fan! <3

Love was interesting enough, and beautifully written, but I didn't find that it had much of a plot. I will wander over to the group read thread for this book to take a look at all of the comments and perhaps post some more of my thoughts there.

I read it when I was like 16 or 17 and loved the whole story, the landscape description AND his job and how he practised it to get the right picture.

I am just starting Eclipse as well. I didn't really like New Moon as much as Twilight. I've heard Eclipse is better. I'm looking forward to a little "light reading"..

The Glass Castle by Jeannette Walls
Angels Fall by Nora..."
Angels Fall was fantastic!
Kristin Hannah's Things We Do For Love was good, never read anything else by her, tho...

"
I completely agree. It is a really great book; stays with you well past finishing.

I have that on my TBR shelf and can't figure out how to fit it into the Spring Challenge. I'm hoping we'll have a challenge for father's day like the mother's day one. It will be the first one I read for the Summer Challenge if so.

wasn't he ased on a real character? I am not sure anymore.

The Bridges of Madison County is a 1992 best-selling novel by Robert James Waller which tells the story of a lonely Italian war bride who engages in an adulterous affair with a National Geographic photographer from Bellingham, Washington who has come to Madison County, Iowa in order to create a photographic essay on the covered bridges in the area. The novel is presented as a novelization of a true story, but it is in fact entirely fiction. However, the author admitted in an interview that there are strong similarities between the main character and himself.[1:]

I am now starting Cloud Atlas by David Mitchell. Has anyone else read this one?
Carole-I loved the Blind Assassin too! Would love to hear what you think of it.
