You did, but people were getting confused and answering the previous questions. So, I deleted the old thread to avoid confusion. Since no one got the correct answer yet... I just re-posted my initial post and all the hints I had given so far.

NPL. :)
Hint: While it was first published before I turned 13... It was recently released in bookstores again. :)

It's not in the romance section, but there is romance in it. You can guess as many times as you would like. :)

Whoops, missed that comment. Thanks for the hint!
Yes! lol They didn't have the 1st book in the series and I read the back of Soulmate, and was completely in love. Great book!

This time you will have until May 15th to guess the answer to the question to pick the 3rd Group Read for June.
Question 3: When I was a kid, I loved to write. However, I HATED to read. I tried the popular book series that kids my age raved about, such as goosebumps and books by Christopher Pike, but I thought that they were silly. When I was in 7th Grade, my best friend was OBSESSED with reading. One day she dragged me into a Walden books, and because I was a good friend... I stood around while she browsed the books. I ended up looking at the books myself since I was bored, and a book caught my eye. I remember reading the synopsis on the back and getting very curious about the book. That day is cemented in my mind. The book was on the bottom shelf in the back of the book store on the right side. I ended up buying it out of curiosity. Later that night, I picked up and once I began reading I couldn't put it down. This was the book that showed me a new side to reading. It wasn't a book anyone had told me about. My best friend ended up reading the book as well. After this book, reading became a part of my soul, and I began spending my entire allowance each week on books! :) I've been a reader ever since. I still own that book. :)
What was the title and author of that book?
Hint: If you go into my profile, and click on my "read" book shelf, it is in there. This is a little bit of a scavenger hunt, because I have 548 books on my read shelf. I've re-read this book, which means that looking based on the date the book was read is not a good idea. I also would not recommend guessing based on the number of stars, because my 13 year old self would have given it 5 stars, but my 25 year old self would not. lol
I will give random hints between now and May 15th. (BTW, if you pay close attention to this post... there are a few hints hidden in it).
Start guessing!
lol Yes, the last name is towards the end of the alphabet, and you are right that it does not have five stars, because 25 yr old me rated it. lol Those are two of the clues. :)
Another clue that was hidden in my post:
I mentioned that I am 25 now, and when I first read it... I was 13. This means that this book was available when I was 13. You can eliminate every book that was first published after that. :) This helps to narrow down the search.
Another hint: I mentioned that my best friend was obsessed with reading and she dragged me to that bookstore. I also mentioned that she read the book too. Now, given this info it is reasonable to expect that friend would be on Goodreads and since we are still friends she is in this Group. If you can figure out which member is my oldest friend, you can see which books we have in common (which aren't many). :)
Narrowing it down further: It is not a romance novel or a science fiction novel.
I will continue giving more hints every few days. :)
