What is your favourite book and author

My all-time favorite is the Wheel of Time series by Robert Jordan.


My most recent favorite is The Seven Stones by A.E. Croft.

I'm new to the group and my name is Nikki.

My favorite authors are Danielle Steel and Nicholas Sparks. I just read "Sins of the Mother" by Steel and loved it! I also love Jodi Piccoult and plan to read "Sing me Home" either tonight or tomorrow :)

Anything written by Sharon Kay Penman. If you haven't read her books then do so; her writing is brilliant. I now own all of her books!

I also enjoy Elizabeth Chadwick who has started writing a trilogy on Eleanor of Aquitaine. I have all her books as well.

A new writer I loved is Hannah Kent author of Burial Rites.

And of course G.R.R.Martin with his A Song of Ice and Fire(I just wish he'd hurry it up).

An older author is Taylor Caldwell-love her books too!
